David loves bikes and knows what he's talking about. And knows how to fix them right. But, if you are looking for a place with many clerks to wait on you and repair techs to work on your bike he doesn't have those. I highly recommend this shop to anyone willing to give David the time he needs to help you.

Walked into the store, no acknowledgment. After standing patently for 10 minutes, I made myself acknowledged. Worker walked past me twice, helping another customer. Not a head nod or nothing. Little that he know is I was there to pick out a Specialize

Took my bike in to get a new chain before a major cycling trip. David really saved me by noticing my freewheel was going out, and was able to sell me the parts and tools on the spot to fix it myself (as repairs were slightly backlogged at the time).
Fair prices and helpful advice. A true asset to north county and a genuine pleasure to do business with.

I've been using this bicycle shop for years. David (owner and technician) has never pressured me into more than I need and will tell me if he believes I dont need an item. He is very good at his repairs and never needed to have a second repair. The biggest downside is, if you consider it as such, would be the wait for larger repairs not because he is slow but instead he has so many wanting his services.

I've been doing business with David for close to 10 years. Every request and project that I've ventured into and need something unusual or out of box approach, he has been able to assist and then some. Look forward to supporting him for another 10 or more years. When it comes to willingness to help the customer, David never steps back, if anything he steps forward and enjoys the challenge. The owner did a great job replacing the inner tube of my back tire. Reasonable pricing, plus he took my bike out of my trunk when I dropped it off and offered to put it back in my car when I picked it up. He went the extra step that he didn’t have to and I really appreciated that. I will continue to go here for all of my bicycle needs from now on. Definitely recommend anyone to go here.
