Renters warehouse customer service is very unorganized. After a couple of years we decided to purchase the home we were renting on Feb 14th. Prior to the end of our rental agreement I reached out to renters warehouse to find out the process on receiving my security deposit as well as prorated rent due to renting for half a month and owning the home the remaining weeks. I was told thanks for informing them and there was “nothing else I needed to do”. From there I made countless phone calls for updates on my security deposit and prorated rent. It wasn’t until the end of April (2.5 months later) when I finally received my security deposit, but no prorated rent. I was told during my last phone exchange on Apr 29th that the property is no longer one of their accounts as of March. Which I understand, however we have been in communication since early February and I was told by multiple agents they would be sending out the deposit AND prorated rent.Now they’ve instructed me to reach out to the original home owner for the prorated rent, when it was their responsibility to request the money when mentioned in February (weeks before they stopped managing the property). Their agent Jim even left a voicemail on Feb 25 before they stopped managing stating he was coordinating with the original home owner for the prorated rent. This was a common discussion with other agents as well. I do believe more accurate and timely communication could have relieved a lot of my frustrations, but this company is not effective in that level of engagement.They’ve said they will call me back on multiple occasions, yet never do. I have initiated every phone call with this company. One agent was inaccurate (by $450) on how much deposit I would receive which is a clear sign of poor record keeping. They confirmed my address and mailed me my copy of the keys, yet mailed my security deposit to another address. In my case it seemed they put off work and communication until things were no longer their responsibility or problem.

These people are so shady...dont ever rent a house from them....its funny how everyone that complains on here gets the same response from them which is basically "we dont know you or have a work order from you." You people lie so bad and I honestly believe any rating on here that is higher than one star is a fake review.

Raymart from Renters Warehouse team took care of me very quickly. They provided updates on when the Mainteince company was coming, texted me with updates and was very patient. This was an urgent request because I had no heat. I submitted the request on Monday night and it was fixed on Wednesday. Very fast turnaround!

Julia Samera (Maintenance Coordinator) has been excellent in expediting services to ensure that all maintenance needs have been prioritized and met appropriately throughout my residency, thus far. She has answered every inquiry, provided great customer service and has been presented a five-star standard of professional for Renters Warehouse. James Anders has also been great in assisting with communications for the property.

I had a sump pump go out over the weekend. They offered to have someone come over urgently, but it wasn’t pressing as the water wasn’t rising fast. Here we are two days later and it’s swapped out and working great. I love Renters Warehouse speedy response on work orders.

Rachael was awesome ! She was able to get me approved and let me know all the requirements before I completed the application . She is very thorough and understanding . She’s an awesome adviser and she makes sure you understands the entire process. I appreciate her patience and determination ! She’s the best !! I’ll definitely recommend people to renters warehouse.
