I got sick close to 20 years ago and needed help around my house. At first they were wonderful, everything was good. In the latter years however things went downhill very quickly. In today's world I wouldn't trust them, you wouldn't ever know what was going on or if your aide would actually show up for work. At one time they were a great company, not any more.

Inconsistent care for my father. He has had money stolen from his dresser drawer. Medication stolen, including anxiety medication and antibiotics. Employees falsifying their hours of work, not showing up on time, if showing up at all. Employees leaving early. One employee flushed coffee filters down the toilet and ham bones, which caused plumbing issues in which my Dad had to pay for out of pocket. Owner does not return calls. Not a company I would recommend for taking care of your loved ones.

Do not use MERIT!ALSO... ADVANTAGE HOME CARE BOUGHT THEM OUT! DON'T BE FOOLED! YOU GET THE SAME PEOPLE FROM MERIT! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL and NOT TO BE USED. THEY JUST CHANGED THEIR NAME!

Finding a good home health company with dependable, caring staff was starting to feel impossible. We finally found Merit and it has been a GODSEND! We could not be happier. I think that having a female owner made all the difference in the world. You actually feel heard, cared for and loved! I highly appreciate and recommend them!
