“I don’t know who on Cricket’s top tier rung needs to hear this, BUT Cortez is the truth! Ok, so I am currently in Belize, Central America and have had the most stressful time trying to find the right international plan with Verizon. Now, my mother who is a senior and a Cricket customer has just learned to text, so informing her about a new option to communicate using WhatsApp was totally out of the question! I mean, I begged and pleaded. We spent $300 on phone usage my first month in Belize using Travel passes. I even had one of my friends reach out to her and still: No Can Do! Then, just the other day, she walked into the Cricket store on Union and met CORTEZ (I hope the spelling is correct)! If you only knew how happy and relieved I was to discover that she had finally signed up for WhatsApp! I mean, I actually still can’t believe it. If you knew my mother, you would understand why. If I didn’t know any better, I would think she’s in some kind of witness protection program or something! SHE DOES NOT DO OR TRUST TECHNOLOGY LIKE THAT! Cortez took his time with her. He was professional and caring. He is obviously a miracle worker too, because that is exact what it took to get my mother to get on WhatsApp! Lol! I now can enjoy the rest of my time in Belize knowing she is just a text or phone call away without spending more on phone bills than I do on my monthly rent here (no cap)! I just want you all to know that you have a keeper!!! Especially in this hiring market so you better treat him right before another employer sweeps him off his feet! Lol THANK YOU CORTEZ! The very helpful manager was knowledgeable, courteous, personable and was able to help numerous customers who came in after us while we waited for our phones to upgrade and transfer over, while always making sure to check in with us and make sure we were doing ok. They both went above and beyond! 1st Justin was able to go ahead and install the screen protectors I purchased from Amazon after he spoke with the manager on my behalf, then Keelen is who did the transfers AND he also came out to my car to help link my phone to my car to talk hands free! WOW! These 2 guys truly deserve recognition. Very good attitudes also! Thanks again Justin and Keelen! Addition: I saw Emily the next day to erase info from one of the phones and put the protector on my camera lenses on my phone. She was very nice, patient and professional! “About 20 years ago I worked up the courage to visit Music for Pleasure. I had been auditioning components at various local retail shops to replace a system I purchased right out of college. Problem was their new gear sounded worse than my broken amp.I was hesitant to visit this place because of their reputation for selling high end equipment and I assumed they would look down on my modest budget.As it turned out, nothing could be further from the truth. The guys were so cool and worked with me while I figured out what I wanted. I bought a nice integrated amp and a beautiful set of entry level Dynaudio speakers.Fast forward 20 years. I just purchased what is likely my last system from Dwayne, Eric and Rob. They were so helpful and patient as I sorted through my options. This time I had a bigger budget and I couldn’t be happier with my setup.Do yourself a favor and visit them if you are thinking of getting a new system or just need advice on an upgrade path. In my opinion, they are the only real stereo shop in the St. Louis area. They off equipment for any budget and provide outstanding service and support.”
“Ian and Seth were unbelievably helpful with trying to figure out how to set up our Apple watch with it's own prepaid phone line. For some reason, the Verizon cell service was not active even though we had gone through all of the initial setup steps. I had spent at least 2 hours talking on the phone to Verizon, 1.5 hours on an online chat with Verizon, and another 2 hours at a different Verizon store to try to solve this problem.
Ian and Seth worked together to try every possible idea that they had until they finally figured it out. These two employees should definitely deserve a raise or a bonus for their hard work, patient, and intelligence. Thank you again for not giving up on a very frustrating problem!”
