Horrible customer service. Wouldn't come out from behind the counter to help me.

Chuck (the owner) runs one of the better bike shops in the area. Chuck is the smartest and most flexible mechanic I’ve ever met. He works with anyone’s budget, works harder and faster than anybody else probably could. Most importantly his prices and the quality of his work are impeccable. You pair all of this with amazing customer service you get one of the best bike shops in St.Louis County. Think twice before you go to sunset cyclery.

I took my 3 wheel recumbent to this shop to have three new tires mounted. When I got my bike back home, the chain was almost falling off the sprocket! But that was only part of the problem. The control arm for the Shimano Nexus hub was not secured properly! I had to take off the back tire and remount the control arm. I had to call TerraTrike and find out how it went back together. They were very good at explaining the process. There are colored dots that have to be aligned so the control arm is seated properly. I aligned the dots and also installed the lock ring properly by using its mounting dot.I remounted the rear tire and put the correct tension on the chain. Now it is back together like it's supposed to be. I would never take my bike back there again! And when I called them and told them all of this, they didn't seem to care. Very poor workmanship! I would not recommend them to anyone!

We moved to the area a few months ago and needed a new shop. Took my daughter’s bike in because of a flat tire and the seat needed adjusting. Tire was fixed and seat adjusted for way less than I thought I’d spend. Also done very timely. Glad we have a local shop nearby.

If you are on any of the trails, but are very far away from your car, Via will bring both you and your bike to this place. As the Christmas holiday shopping season approaches, Via Metro STL will even bring you to this place for gift cards, bike brochures, etc. Thanks to Via, this place is a hit for tourists.

Great little bike shop! I would highly recommend it! I took my bike to them when it was in horrible dangerous condition and they fixed it and now it feels like it’s brand new. The older man who works there is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I bought mine and my wife's bikes from here like 5 or more years ago. I take them back if they need something and if not I bring them in yearly to have them checked out before spring. I highly recommend Olde Town Fenton Cyclery. Very good people. Chuck, one of the owners is a great guy. He does not fix what does not need fixing and the pricing is very fair. Thanks Chuck!

They are close, and don't mind fixing the little things that matter to bicyclists.
