Buyer beware. We bought a 1967 ford galaxie from them. Description of the car was wrong. It was described to have a 390 engine but we found out after receiving the car that it has a 360. The car had a aftermarket fuel injection kit that never worked right from day one. The clutch was not working correctly from day one. Way to stiff for a hydraulic clutch and hard to put in gear. We contacted them with our concerns and was told that they do not have a mechanic on duty that looks over the cars.

I recently purchased a 1979 IH Scout SS from MotoeXotica in March of 2021. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I purchased the vehicle site unseen even though copius pictures were sent to me via email. When the vehicle was delivered to my home in South Carolina, it was exactly how it was pictured. Now my wife and I drive the Scout all over town turning heads. Our favorite thing to do now is to "Get Out and Drive!" Great experience. Thanks MotoExotica!

I'm afraid the previous negative reviews are accurate in my experience as well. Selling product that is not as described and with serious mechanical issues. Also parts missing on delivery that are show in sell images. Follow-up service is slow or non-existent without nagging.

I purchased a 1998 BMW M Roadster from MotoeXotica spring of 2020. The car was listed on eBay and their website. I asked them to take some very specific pictures about a known problem area. They said that there was no issue, but only sent back one picture. Given their reputation I just trusted that it was fine, and purchased the car. The car did not have this specific problem, so that was good.
They were easy to work with and arranged to have the car shipped halfway across the country to me. When I got the car off the truck I immediately noticed several things were not working right. The car did not have any deficiencies noted in the eBay listing or their website listing.
Over subsequent weeks and months I discovered and fixed a large array of issues, some small, some large. I wrote up a detailed list of the things that needed fixing (some major like the front shocks, driveshaft, driveshaft flex coupling, convertible top system, and a lot of little electrical issues), and played phone tag for a couple of months.
In the end they issued me a check to help alleviate some of these issues. The amount I had asked for was a fraction of the cost of what I had to put in to fix the issues that were not advertised, and they offered me half of the amount I asked for. They were not going to budge on this, so I accepted it.
Because I can and don't mind working on my own cars, this is a 4 star rating and not a 3 star. If they had comp'd me the amount I asked for (again, it was about 1/4 of the cost of all the subsequent repairs), I would have given a 5 star rating. If they had not comped me at all, it would have been 2 stars.
Long story short, it turned out OK but not great. I would ask as many questions as you can and have any potential car inspected by a third party before purchasing long distance.
