Goodwill Thrift stores, a 501c3 non-profit, accept donations and sell them at an affordable price. The revenue from the sale of the donated goods helps to fund many programs that assist the disabled and disadvantaged with employment services and tuition-free high schools for adults to earn their diplomas. The stores are open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Customers often find treasures and great deals on clothing, household goods, and books at the Goodwill stores. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, with some locations standing out for their exceptional customer service. One reviewer praised the "reddish brown haired" older woman who made the shopping experience feel like visiting a friend, while another noted the polite and engaging employees at a specific store location. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the increasing prices at Goodwill, with one mentioning that certain items can be purchased new for a similar cost. Additionally, a few reviewers had negative experiences with the customer service at specific store locations, with one describing a "younger guy" who seemed disinterested and provided monotone responses. Overall, the Goodwill Thrift stores offer a unique shopping experience, with a mix of positive and negative reviews from customers. The stores' mission to support charitable programs and provide affordable goods to the community is appreciated by many.
