Made payments to my home equity line and the payments were sent to the wrong account making it look like I was behind and never made a payments. Went in and talked to a personal banker to get the matter resolved. They said no problem it would be corrected. After three weeks they are callling saying I am behind again because they did nothing they promised to do. Complete waste of time! The staff there are incompetent!

Lee, the Assistant Manager at the Commerce Bank in Fenton, went WAY above and beyond to help my mother when we went in to make a withdrawal & then had questions about her account. She made 100% SURE that we had all of the information we needed to figure out all of our questions, and she did it immediately & kindly. This lady is worth her weight in gold. Thank you Lee, for making our experience so great.

I’ve had two negative experiences with Monica the Personal Banker first one was minor just the wait time when trying to deposit money in the drive thru. I had two sets of cars in the lanes next to me come and go while I was waiting for her to bring my ID back and finish the transaction. Things happen I understood and moved on but the second experience was in person and it was obvious she does not know how to do her job properly or has no interest in doing her job at all. I came in to get a new card as my husband lost his and he was able to get a new card with a new number at a different branch. When she looked this up she seemed confused and said they didn’t give him a new number and I said that was weird because they told him I needed to get a new card now. I had to show her a picture of his card and my old card for her to go ahead and print a new card for me. It wasn’t working for some reason and she just kept waiting and started packing her stuff up to leave. I suggested if it isn’t working I’ll just leave and try again Saturday. She said she already started the process so we had to wait. She called across the room to her coworker or supervisor asking if she received her message and then told me to go over to her. Monica then left for the evening and Cassie Lewis was able to process my request in about 2 mins and it was obvious that this was something Monica must do often just from Cassie body language. Cassie was kind and never had anything rude to say. If Monica needed help she should have had a supervisor come over and help her 10 mins into our issue or if she wanted to learn she would have walked over to Cassie desk with me and watched her do the transaction with zero issues. She might need more training or maybe just leave if she isn’t interested in doing her job well. I would have rather she just tell me the machine is broke and she can’t help me instead of having me sit around for 30 mins while she closed her area for the day.

The drive thru is not staffed sufficient!! 15 minutes to deposit a check with 3 cars deep. The inside is also extremely slow.

If you have a specific question regarding this specific branch don't bother calling. The number provided is a system wide number and they will transfer you to this specific branch. Of course, you can't get a live person to answer your simple question. You have to go thru the menu that doesn't pertain to what you want to ask.

Very disappointed with the Fenton branch manager and the staff.
Their knowledge is not up to date and wasted two hours of my time and not able to open a checking account. The manager attitude is quite aggressive . Not giving my business to such manager. They are ignorant, have no knowledge of even some LLC types existing for many years.

Have been using this branch since senior year of high school when my mom helped me create my first checking account. Not really sure I'll continue to use this bank since their interest rates on savings are terribly low. And their idea of helping me find what I need is having me answer the same questionnaire I can do online on my own time to figure out what my banking needs are...

Grant Longland at Commerce Bank in Fenton has assisted me from the start. He has been more than helpful with all my requests from opening an account and getting a Commerce credit card. The personal attention he has given my banking needs has been greatly appreciated.

Recently I was in Commerce Bank Fenton to open up a new account as my current bank has gone downhill the past few years. Grant Lwas the banker that was available to assist me, and I couldn’t be happier that he was. He was professional, while also making it personable enough that I felt like I was talking to an old friend. He adequately explained everything that I did, helped make my switching of banks stress free and easy, and answered all the silly Qs I asked along the way. The working world needs more people as genuine as Grant.

I have been to this bank more times than enough to know that not everyone is busy enough to not pick up a phone. There's not been 1 time this week that I've called that I can get ahold of anyone. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Lauren w. Gave great customer service when I came in at the end of the day to do some transactions. I have gone in just before close a few times, no one has ever made it seem like they were annoyed. Nice drive thru staff too
