My Columbia based business operates a small fleet of trucks and trailers, consequently we always have vehicle repair needs. Andy and his crew at Central Missouri Transmission in Fayette are our go to mechanics anytime we need transmission work. They do excellent work, are fairly priced, and they absolutely stand behind their work. I would not consider taking my vehicle to anyone other than Andy if it needed transmission repair.

This was our first experience dealing with a broken transmission. We have 4 kids so having our van up and running is highly important. I was scared of horror stories surrounding mechanics. We had no choice but to go for it. First off, the kindness Andy shows is comforting. Second, he was so straight forward with cost and steps being taken. I will forever trust this shop and andy with our vehicle and soon our daughters. Never hesitate to bring your vehicle here. He goes above and beyond and i will always refer people here. Thank yall so much for the amazing service!!

The transmission in my van failed recently. I called several shops, and they all recommended taking it to Central Missouri Transmission in Fayette. The owner, Andy Cook, is a great guy — friendly, helpful, and honest. They did a complete rebuild with a two-year transferrable warranty for a very fair price, in less than a week. It drives perfectly now, but I'm confident that if I have any problems they'll honor their warranty without a hassle. Highly recommended!

My husband and I broke down in Missouri on our cross country road trip. It turns out, it was our transmission. Someone recommended Central Missouri Transmission to us and I just have to say what an AMAZING job they did! Andy was so helpful, he even gave us a ride back to where we were staying after we dropped our truck off. He was really nice to work with, extremely fairly priced and he got the job done quickly to get our family back on the road ! We couldn't be more satisfied with his service.
