After visiting multiple furniture stores in the St. Louis area we decided to drive down to Farmington Mo. to try Hefners, big mistake. We thought we made a good purchase, spent almost $5200.00 on a sectional, and were told 10 -12 weeks for delivery. We are now at 16 weeks and are being told our furniture hasn't been manufactured yet, in VIETNAM! We incorrectly assumed American made! We're told late August at the earliest, that's almost 6 months from the date of purchase. They offered to knock about 7% off, which I think is a joke since we have already been waiting 4 weeks longer than promised. We will never waste our time at Hefners again.

Should be a negative 1 just like there furniture. Bought 2 supposedly new flexsteel recliners from the bluff store.
1 is new the other looks used and refurbished. Contacted the bluff store and they pawned us off to the Farmington store and Jared.
We received the recliners in our new home and didn't pay any attention to them cause we were living in a trailer until furniture and appliances were all delivered.
2 weeks after delivery we started to live and use furniture. The one recliner started making a growing noise and leans and smells of smoke and color is not the same as other dirty looking.
Jared sent a repair person to diagnose problem to no avail. He spotted which one was bad as soon as he walked and walked up to it then stepped back to act like he couldn't tell.
Then looked it over and said there is something wrong but couldn't tell what.
Jared calls with all kinds of reasons why they can't give what you ordered a new unbroken chair and why they won't exchange it. Just want to try to fix a broken refurbished one.
Guess Hefners doesn't realize that you put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig. Throw parts at a chair still a broken chai r not a new one.
Thanks Hefners for the heartache

Spent some time shopping for a replacement refrigerator. Called Saturday about a refrigerator they advertised. Sales associate gave a strong price. Wanted to check and make sure everything was right to ensure it was his best price. Associate came back with confirmation. Went to store looked at fridge. Received printout with same price. Spent time driving around to other stores seeing if anyone had comparable prices seemed like Hefner’s was our guy. Called to order the fridge sales associate gives the same price yet again. Given card info over the phone to get the order going.
15-20 minutes goes by. Sales associate calls back. It turned out he had given us the wrong price at every turn and to get things moving it will not cost the before agreed upon price of $1,800ish but over $2,100 dollars.
I’m sure they are good folks. I just feel stupid after checking so many times and driving all over god’s green earth passing on other companies.
I understand everyone has a bottom line but you only get so many chances to correct. I was inconvenienced and made a fool of.

Received price quote on 3 separate occasions on same fridge. Even had a printout with the stock number and a price quote. Used this number when price comparing seemed like a reasonable enough deal. Once I placed my order and gave payment information they called back later saying they gave me the wrong price quote because they used the incorrect stock number every time 3 separate times, are unwilling to honor that price, and if I would like to proceed it would be a $300 increase. Does it make them an evil company no. Am I irritated and disappointed that I put that much effort and drove that far for an employee to screw up that many times and not feel they should honor the price yes. Take price quotes from here with a grain of salt because it clearly doesn't mean much.

Mr. Joshua Lindsay showed me a variety of recliners, showed what features they have. He found me the type of recliner I was looking for. He is not a pushy salesman.

So for those who may wonder if Hefner Furniture & Appliance is the store for you let me share my wife’s and I experience. We were going there to shop for a new mattress and box springs, was met by a representative named Jason, he greeted us and showed us to the area where the mattresses were and began asking questions and explained everything about the products. This man knew what he was talking about and helped us find the perfect set. I am truly grateful for his kind knowledge of his products and his exemplary communication skills and building rapport with his customers. 10/10 would definitely recommend taking the time to stop in and see what they can do for you.

I don't understand why the prices can't be listed because how do we truly know that we're getting the sale. And it's not like they have competitors nearby to where they would be competing with other competitors . I used to love going in there but now that I have a few handicaps and it's hard to get around inside of there in a wheelchair I no longer can go inside because the furniture is so tight that I can't get through. Shopping on line. But I would like to have some prices of the things I just sent for just to see what I might find in Cape

Bought a washer only A YEAR AND A HALF OLD and the spin cycle went out warning to everyone DONT BUY THE WASHERS HERE I had to go to the place in bonne terre called QUALITY APPLIANCE and it works great heres the kicker it's used and it has lasted longer than hephners junk washer

Got a new bed for Christmas at almost 50 percent off. Fun little shaker bucket game saved me a lot of money! Unmatched inventory and lots of friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great selection of furniture.

Purchased a very expensive furniture set ( maxodivani). From Dwayne. Dwayne a great person until you purchase and walk out those doors. Had called several times and no calls returned until you show up on the show room floor. Dwayne had Ken from the service department tried helping and picked up our couch that they had for 1month and told us Maxdivani would not stand behind their product . Here we are today with an expensive couch and loveseat we thought would be a great product to purchase. Did I ever make that mistake. Went to Hefner 1month ago to purchase a bed set and thought once and walked out because of the way we had things handled before
