I love the atmosphere and the stylists were so friendly
Requested style: I wanted to get an undercut and spikey on the top. The stylist was very good and she did exactly what I wanted. The salon was very clean and the atmosphere was wonderful. I will be going back to this one.
Specialties: I really like the atmosphere and she knew exactly what I wanted.
Hair type: My hair is very thick and grows really fast.
Stylist: I forget her name but I think she was the manager.

My husband and I went in today and both got cut by Sara. Lovely lady, very friendly. She did a wonderful job on my husband's beard and hair.I will admit, I should have spoken up about my cut so it's not entirely her fault. Did a wash as I have thick, semi-curly hair and it's best to work with it wet. I wanted feathered bangs and for her to even out the length. I was fine with how much she said she was going to trim to even it out. I told her I wanted a middle part, told her I wanted the bangs to rest on my eyebrows, told her I wanted it tapered so I could tuck some behind my ears. All good there.I should have fixed the part when it wasn't centered, that was my fault. I should have remembered that you have to go a little longer on wet, thick, semi-curly hair to get the dry length I wanted. But she should have known that too. They're short but they'll grow back. After getting home I fixed the part and altered the bangs as much as I could so that when it grows back I'll be able to get them redone in the correct style, but with fixing the part my hair is now uneven. I'm lucky this haircut wasn't for something special as it looks like I'm wearing a wig (a statement made by my own mother and younger sister as well as myself).Sara was wonderful, shop was clean, and we were in and out in record time. But lesson learned to speak up and pay more attention to the process.

Checked in online. Waited 2 hours in line. Went in and was told we can't do a styling because we are too busy. She didn't one side of her bangs evened up and a 10 minute session with a curling iron. FAR less time than a cut takes. After a TWO hour wait. We went to Samantha's and thank heavens she made room for us. My granddaughter first dance and first real date. We were both in tears leaving Great Clips. Not recommended at all ever.

I’m sorry but can you say hack job? I have been here before and I had a good experience. So I went back. I went in with my curly hair that was down to the middle of my back. I knew it was going to be bad when I asked for it to be cut below my shoulders and after “the ends were buzzed off” it was already up to my shoulders dry. I said I want it to be at my shoulders when it’s dry and curly so I want it cut wet below my shoulders because I know how my hair is. I said I would like medium length layers as well. It was cut to my shoulders wet because too much was buzzed off. Then more and more was cut because it wasn’t even. By the time it was done my hair was right ABOVE MY SHOULDERS WET. So when dry and curly my hair is almost at my earlobes. I am very disappointed I went to my car and cried. I keep telling myself hair grows back. I figured if I straightened it, it would look a little longer. I can’t even wear it straight because of it being so choppy and hacked at. It’s my fault for trusting a great clips to cut curly hair. Women I would think twice before getting your hair cut here. It would be great if you advertise being a men’s only salon.

I cannot say enough good a out how great the staff are with my son. He is non verbal and fidgety. They always are so patient with him and give him a great cut every time. I highly recommend the Excelsior Springs location!

Went to get a haircut and I specifically said a trim up of what I had currently and to keep the same style but was told they did not understand and made it just very short when I still wanted my style before cut, which was more medium, and have been told by people I know that whatever the barbers name was also did this exact cut to others without being asked to do so. This was not the first time this happened either, I am not going here again, I was very annoyed by it and just gave up.

I went in and got my hair styled and the cut it uneven, real bad, went back to have it fixed and they put in layers which I did not ask for and they did not blend it. I really think they just put anyone in there to cut hair. I'm so disappointed but I'm not going in to have them fix it for the third time bc they cut it too short the last time so if I go back again I won't have much hair left. It looked ok til I got home to wash it and went to go style it, that's when it was noticable, very noticeable ???

They won't honor the coupons. My son's hair cut I could have done myself. Definitely wasn't worth $20. I'll go somewhere else next time.
