My wife and I needed to have a few documents notarized. After calling 5 banks in the region, I called FCNB who said that they will notarize a document even though I didn’t have an account with them (the branch of our bank nearest us is 40 minutes away and we were in a time crunch). We walked in, were greeted kindly. We were asked to wait (it was a very brief wait, likely less than a minute or two). The location was clean and conveniently located. The woman who helped was kind and made things easy and seamless. At the end, I expected to pay as we are not members of the bank. However, she said there was no charge.I would recommend FCNB based on my limited exposure to them. They seem like a great bank.

Tired of this place! Debit card never works. Literally so so many occasions I can think of where I had money in my account but the card isn’t working. Now online banking isn’t letting me transfer money. Couldn’t get gas last night because of this card issue and literally had to leave car on side of highway....wake up this morning to find my debit card STILL is not working. This is literally the worst bank ever. I was going to keep getting my direct deposits here after moving out of state recently but I am just 100% done and cannot wait to get my money out of this place. Literally nothing positive to say.

Best bank I've ever dealt with. And the staff is friendly. They know you and speak to you when you walk in the door.

Excellent staff. Its nice to walk into your bank and consistently be Be greeted on a first name basis. Banking done the way it should be done.
