St. Louis Tile Company and the people who work there are amazing. The selection is full of top notch options, and the employees are only helpful - never pushy, snobby, or impatient. Come here for a pleasant home improvement experience!

A friend referred me to St Louis Tile Company and what a beautiful showroom!! They have a very large selection of natural stone too that they stock as well. Right now its 50% off of all their in stock stone and tile. We worked with Megan who is their in house interior designer. She is a wealth of knowledge. We redid 2 bathrooms and will be back in 2 months to make selections for a kitchen we are remodeling. The staff and service is 5 stars!! If we could give 10 stars we would. We will never go to the big box stores anymore. She came up with options we didn’t even think of. We love our 2 remodeled bathrooms. So many compliments we have received. Go check them out. It will be worth your time!!!

SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF! We purchased marble tile for two bathrooms at significant cost. We were told we had no time limit to pick up our purchase, we could return tiles for a refund anytime and we could exchange tiles that had problems, with no time limit-none. As months went buy, I verified this with Sue and Lyndsey repeatedly. We explained to them we are DIYers for much of our remodel project and had several projects under way so this was a very important point to us. Initially STL Tile was involved in moving from one location to the other so it seems they were happy to let us have as much time as we needed because they needed time to. Then Covid hit and there were more delays so we remained in contact with them. As we began working on the first bathroom tile job we began to realize the purchase was a nightmare. The tiles were supposed to be predominately white with subtle gray veining as was shown in their show room. I realize marble is a natural stone and there will be variations within reason, but the tiles we were drastically different, some being predominately dark grey and some white which looked like a ugly checker board when laid out. They were obviously from a variety of lots. We paid for delivery but in the end we had to return almost every tile for the master bath (floors and walls) for an exchange - backbreaking work! As a result of Covid and contractor delays on our large project, the second bathroom was not ready for wall tile until 2.5 years later, however, I was in contact with Sue and Lyndsey periodically and was informed repeatedly returns and exchanges were not a problem. When our contractor finally began to lay out the floor for the second bathroom, he realized the tiles in the box were not from the same lot, they weren't even the same tile. I attempted to return all of it and exchange them for tiles that matched as well as buy some additional tiles that were needed. They refused to honor what I had been told. I was told Sue and Lyndsey were wrong, they were gone and the rules had changed. They wanted to know why I had not opened every box and looked at every single tile to verify the contents were correct. Is that reasonable in a $2,300 purchase of heavy tile? I don't think so. It is more appropriate for the customer to expect that the contents of a box of tile is from the same lot as they claim it is. You should not have to verify they didn't cheat you. So, they refused to make the tiles right and would only sell us additional tiles. We are talking about a very small part of our project involved less than 2 complete boxes of tiles which initially cost $103.50. Pretty short sided IMO not to make good on their promises to keep a customer happy. Additionally, the women who has taken Sue and Lyndsey's place was a real snip who spewed out a mouthful of unprofessional and ignorant comments to me. In the end I refused to give them any more of my money - now or ever. Instead I started over and purchased tiles from Floor and Decor to complete my project. It was headache free and the tiles were from the same lot from the git-go.First Pic: Showroom TileSecond and Third Pic: Tile I receivedFourth Pic: Mismatched tile in two boxes

Su was awesome. Really helped me out when I was having an out-of-stock mini saga finding a certain color tile. Great customer service experience and I'll go here first next time, instead of the big box stores. Not sure how long it will last, but everything they have in stock is 50% off too.

Well for starters the sales team of 3 people are by far the most ignorant people to work retail. The fat 1, The fat ugly 1, and the fat butt 1. Oh yea and the owner/manager is a fat bald man that hardly speaks English. The products themselves are extremely cheap and poor quality. We ignorantly went with them for all our flooring. Not even six months after we had all of our floors redone using their products every single rooms tiles had broken. After getting another contractor thinking it was his doing I went with the very best in St Louis and did my research this time. When the new contractor began removing the St Louis Tile Company tiles he noticed that the tiles were all of uneven thickness and in some tiles they would even crumble like sandstone in his hands. The "marble" as we were told was junk and literally fractured like windshield glass when my 96lb son walked on them. The people that work there will lie to your face and will overcharge you if you aren't careful. The guy, his name was Harry, was the absolute biggest weasel that we have ever encountered. He loaded us first broken cases of tile and marble, and then when we called him out on it while he was loading his response was that this was all they had left, contradicting what the Ron guy/girl in the salesroom had told me. I would advise anyone thinking of going here to save your money, time, and aggravation. How this place is still opened is beyond me. They are overpriced, and the biggest rip off in St Louis. When I was ordering they were eating and playing on their phones. One reeked of cigarettes and booze. While her partner was shoving food in her face and playing on her/his phone scheduling ihop interviews. This business needs to be investigated not only for business practices but for illegal activity. The people at this company would very periodically talk to each other in some middle eastern while staring at my wife and kids when we were dealing with them

They sold me a box of white subway tiles that was two different brands mixed together. I came home to find the tile installed on my wall with two different colors of white. Super disappointed.

I recently visited St. Louis Tile Company. I wanted something special that was different from what I had seen in the large home improvement stores. I had assumed that it would be too expensive, and that it would not be competitive with Home Depot, Lowes, etc.. I could not have been more wrong. They had gorgeous tiles, huge selection and many items were in stock and on sale. The tile I selected was actually significantly less than similar tiles that I had looked at Home Depot and Menards. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer care. Rhonda was amazing. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and led me to the perfect tile for our project. I am looking forward to working with them again for our next remodel. Incredible selection, great value, and superb staff.
