“The vibe is right at 40k. The staff are helpful and genuinely care about the customer. They are there to get the customer set up with the best ride for them, not just the most expensive. Steve allowed me to pick his brain for well over an hour after I had explained that I wasn't there to purchase anything. After more research, I determined what was best for me and returned to 40k because I trusted their staff. Mike got me scheduled for a fitting with short notice and spent well over an hour, making sure my bike was just right. I am sure there are other good bike shops in St Louis, but 40k will continue to receive my business, thanks to a knowledgeable and genuine staff.”

“I went on a search for chicks and drove all over the place. I originally went to Fenton to a different farm store because they had a very specific chicken breed I was looking for (Lavender Orpingtons.) I ended up at this store instead. The girl working in the chick station was so calm even though she was getting overwhelmed by people wanting chicks. I wish I had gotten her name. She was so busy boxing chicks and tending to them. Very impressive job and one of the best places to get chicks because it was very well organized and the presentation of the area was really nice! And really, this is a super nice location! It’s huge and and has so much to look at it. I don't live anywhere near here, but did love this store! Great experience! And our chicks are doing awesome! They are now about 16 weeks old.”

“I just had an amazing experience at this location. Recently I have been having issues with my back, knees, and feet. My doctor recommended to start buying wide shoes. I’ve never had a need to until now. As soon as I walked in an employee, Andrew, introduced himself and offered help if needed. I took him up on his offer and I’m glad I did! He was able to point out which shoes came in wide off the top of his head. He helped me choose a pair that fit well and also helped me try on two different kinds of insoles. My feet already feel better and I walked out of the store with my new shoes and insoles. Thank you, Andrew!”

“This place is a LIFE SAVER if you have a kid playing a sport!! PHEWWWWW thank goodness... Let me tell you this place is not the closest BUT its helpful and cheaper than DICKS or ACADEMY so dont count them out! They are off the parkway and the parking is open and easy to get in and out!!! The store itself is spacious and offers A LOT of supplies for your sport needs...I needed a pair of football pants for a BIG guy and no other store had the size I needed but THANKFULLY I found them here and at a fraction of the price I paid for a girdle in DICKS... wish I would have known about this place before I TORE OUT MOST OF MY HAIR lol When I called and asked the nice lady who answered the phone for help she was quick and efficient.. She let me know they had what I needed I told her I would be RIGHT THERE!!! and quess what?? She had them waiting for me and I didnt even ask her to do that!!! Hows that for customer service!!!! I adore a great customer service rep! and she will NEVER know how much I appreciated her for the help...SO I say all this to say ...if you need some sports gear...TRY HERE FIRST...this place just might save you some much needed spending money..especially durning Christmas time!!! Thank you”
