“We were pleasantly amazed! My son wanted fun, unique cheeses for his 21st birthday. Vivian was wonderful! She was very humble about her cheese knowledge, but amazed us with all kinds of information about each cheese, taste-wise and practical! She was kind and upbeat and offered my party of 4 samples for each cheese in which my son was interested. We ended up buying about 8 different kinds, and my son mentioned making The Wine and Cheese Place a regular stop in the future. I was also impressed that Vivian was always positive no matter what size we needed the cheese cut! We were thoroughly impressed with The Wine and Cheese Place on New Ballas Rd!”

They season well compared to a similar company.Best option for me is any dish that includes mashed cauliflower, a green veg and a protein.Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that you can’t use the gift certificate bought online in store and stock was very low when I went to buy food. I recommend shopping online and paying the small fee for delivery to get all the options.”

“Getting used to my new schnucks location...I love that every time I buy eggs, they always double check to make sure none of them are broken before I leave. No other schnucks has done that for me and I really appreciate that. I'm taking out one star because I had come here on a mission to get their chicken wings from the bar a few weeks ago, but everything was cleared out and it was still pretty early in the day. I was really disappointed because it was all I was craving that day. Other than that they always have whatever I need. I will say that when they changed the price for a 10lb bag of potatoes to $10.99 they were psycho, but when I went back today, it was nice to see they brought it back down to $6.99. The employees rate a four out of five, sometimes a three out of find depending on who you have behind the counter and who you get at the cash register. Then again, those are pretty much the only two groups you interact with. The produce is always fresh, the proteins always seemed to be fresh, the deli seems to always be nice. We have an advantage because we live right there pretty much at the corner and it makes Dierbergs a huge convenience. That's about it!”

“We had such a good experience in the Dierbergs store. When we were in self check out, we had a problem and they came over and helped us fix it. We also went to 3 different grocery stores before Dierbergs and this was the only store that had Prime drinks and carrot sticks. They were the only store that also keeps the Prime drink in stock all year round. Everything was much more in stock than the other stores. We would definitely come back!! I think that they are doing better than target and might even catch up to them in stocks.”
