Customer service is a joke. Virtual tellers. Called customer service line and was 23 in line. 60 min later I am 15th in line. Customer service rep I talked to earlier was less the understanding for a serious issue.

a bank that has lost its way. I've been a first bank customer for 20+ years and have historically enjoyed the service, ownership dedication, and home town feel. of late the decline in customer service and lack of dedication to a mobile banking world has been beyond unimpressive. for me it's time to move to someone who is investing in their customers.

Waited in drive thru for 15 minutes and no one ever helped me. The tellers are rude and slow.

1/2 a star at best. I've been a customer for less than two months and I already plan on leaving. Online banking is outdated, the lobbies are still closed, drive thru wait times are always long and there is always more than 20 callers ahead of me when I try to call over the phone. Things will "pend" on my account for far longer than they do at other institutions. I've maybe encountered one staff member that wasn't rude. Don't waste your energy on this bank.

Easily the worst banking experience I've ever had. I opened a small business checking account. Mistakes were made. It took a full 8 days for a check to be cut and mailed to another bank causing all kinds of problems. Their app is bad and the website is worse. When I complained to a teller about my experience, she told me she doesn't even bank there!! When I went to close my account today (5.14.21) their lobby is still closed unless you have an appointment. EVERYTHING is open again. The CDC just issued new guidelines that fully vaccinated individuals who can social distance outside don't need to wear masks. Good grief. Glad to be done.

I’ve been banking here for close to 10 years. Never had any complaints. Branch staff is always friendly and helpful. And when I did have an issue it was always resolved right away. Highly recommend

First Bank of Ellisville has been my bank for years. Even though I've moved out of the area, I still go to First Bank of Ellisville occasionally for transactions and I have never encountered the experiences the other two reviewers encountered. They have always been kind and helpful and very professional in their manner. I cannot believe that I am the only one who feels this way. First Bank will always be my bank of choice. In my location in St. Charles, they also offer a virtual experience with kind and helpful tellers, who are amazing and so fast. You can go in a Dierberg's Market to try it out and currently, there are people to help you get used to the new system. They also offer it in their drive-thru in the Dierberg's parking lot. So sorry that the other two people had such experriences, but as far as I'm concerned, it has always been nothing but GREAT!

Customer service on the phone the lady was very rude. Could tell in her voice she didn't want to be there. No reason to be rude with me just had a simple question.
