My Dad, Dale Branam, died September 10th, and we where grief stricken and a little lost, but the people at Shelby Funeral home stepped in and helped ease the burden of planning his funeral. They where gentle, attentive, detailed, kind and caring. I am so glad we picked them to help handle his funeral because I know without them it wouldn’t have been the funeral he deserved. Thank you all at Shelby Funeral Home In East Prarie Missouri for all you did. And thank you Mrs. Pam personally you are one of a kind and I know God puts people in our paths for a reason. This is your calling. Talking to you was like talking to an old friend you made it so easy to tell you how we wanted everything. We highly recommend you guys.

Facility is owned by Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Seems a little redundant to have two funeral homes owned by the same person 20 minutes away. It is a nice facility, however the Ponder facility is much nicer. Again the assistants at Shelby are much more polite and respectful than the owner at Ponder.

Been working for years without a license and turned away a member of my family due to lack of payment in full up front of a senior citizen of this town. If they are still working without license then they should be shut down, fined for every person that they took after license was not valid and or incarcerated. Not cool.
