We went on a Sunday November 12, their voice recording when you call them says they open at 9 but we got there at 10 and the gates had not opened yet we waited till 10:30 cars came and went because it seemed like they were never going to open so we left. We paid for tickets and nowhere on their website or on the gates indicated it was going to be closed that day, we also saw the workers. We called multiple times and no one answered, sent in an email about the situation and have yet to get our money back or a response.

First, I’d like to say we did enjoy the drive through safari part. The “office” animals and petting zoo animals were a different story. I’ve NEVER wrote a review, but something needs to be said.We were blasted in the face with the terrible smell as soon as we opened the door to go pay. I figured out why when we went to look at the inside animals. The guinea pigs had no water and no feed, the shavings were disgusting and it was extremely packed. The poor bearded dragon looked so poor. It’s basking light was a red heat lamp, he wasn’t even using his basking area on a cool day. His bowl was full of fruit covered in flies. No UVB, which they require. If he doesn’t already have MBD, he’s going to.The lemur, fox and sloth cages were also extremely dirty. The hissing roaches had several dead ones in the tank. All of the bird cages were gross and overcrowded. The goats had bucks in with does, so I’m sure they are continuing to breed over and over, small breeds come into heat almost monthly so I’m sure everyone of the does in there are bred…including the babies and the does that are in no shape to be carrying and feeding babies.Maybe some of the animals are rescues and that explains why some look so bad, but that doesn’t excuse the gross conditions, overcrowding and improper diets. When we were there, there was only 2 women working. I really hope there’s usually more help, because there’s no way 2 people can maintain all of those inside animals and deal with all of the customers. I really wanted to love this place, but seeing the conditions of the inside/petting zoo animals just really broke my heart. Hopefully something changes.

All the animals were in the cages. Also we couldn't buy any food at the beginning because they said they didn't have any. Then we tried to get the money back and the lady was very snotty and rude. Will never come back here again

My family absolutely LOVED this place! We came down to Eureka Springs and were recommended to give this park a visit. I am very happy that we decided to do so. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about all of their animals! Facility was clean and smelled great when entering into the park. You can definitely tell the animals are loved & cared for. 10/10 recommend!

The drive thru safari was fun, it was cool having the deer/bison/alpaca etc come right up to your window for food. They had some cool animals inside to look at like a sloth, lemurs, and even a boa constrictor. My wife and I were a bit confused about their ball python set ups, as they had a few housed together and only one hide for them to share. I would like to see better care of the snakes as I am an owner myself. Also, the “petting zoo” was kind of lackluster. There were many exhibits that didn’t have anything in them, grass overgrown and just overall kind of boring. Definitely somewhere I would bring my kids at least once for the drive thru experience.

This place was amazing the way that the animals come up to the vehicle is just more than satisfactory in entertainment. The animals won’t hurt anyone in the car nor scratch it up, there is multiple types of animals out of car and in car you can feed birds which was my favorite part, please try this out to help them out. The cups cost I believe 10-20 each if I remember right, but feed a whole trip no matter which part.

This "zoo" feels like it's been forgotten about. It does not look at all like the photos. We entered through a small building that had an overwhelming smell of urine. I grew up on a farm, and everyone knows that petting zoos have a typical "smell" to them, but this was UNBEARABLE. Inside, there were several cages with various animals. There was a huge stock tank that was FILLED to the brim with GUINEA PIGS - at least 70. Several were pregnant, there were babies - clearly just uncontrolled inbreeding. What are you going to do with 100 inbred Guinea pigs? There were two prairie dogs in a wire cage that were trying to dig their way out. This is an unacceptable way to house prairie dogs - very sad. There was another cage filled with rats, one with another type of rodent - again, they are clearly multiplying and not being separated. A very sad looking lemur who desperately wanted to escape his small cage. The front desk was being operated by a YOUNG boy - very nice, but on his own. I don't know how he is able to stand to smell. God bless him. When we arrived, he was out feeding the petting zoo animals, but there were no adults or anyone else working. In the petting zoo area there were TONS of pot belly pigs - pregnant ones, babies. This looked like a breeding operation, but is more likely neglect. I grew up on a pig farm - it's not safe to have tiny piglets loose with the rest of the herd. This is basic animal care knowledge. The infrastructure is old, grass is overgrown, there are no signs/instructions. We just sort of wandered around. I was thankful that there weren't more animals in the petting zoo, but sad for those that were there. The drive through was fine. Same issue with old cages, lack of diversity, lack of signage. This is not a "zoo" or "sanctuary," this is a collection of animals that has been perpetually bred to fill up the fields and cages.

This place is pure humanity. Our last visit we were welcomed by name and they were incredibly patient and empathetic with my son #AutisticFriendly

Went to this place about 7 years ago when we were back this way for a visit and it was a pretty nice place. Fast forward to May of 2023, we wanted to take some other family members. It was a total disaster. 20.00 a person to see a few animals in some run down cages. Felt sorry for the leopards. Asked to buy food to feed the animals in drive thru and they said they ran out, but a sign on the trail said they don't allow feeding them anymore. Only animals out were some deer and goats. They kept coming to the window for food. Some wolves in cages and that was about it. I'm sorry, but this place really has gone downhill. Don't waste your time or money. Go to the one in Branson. This one needs to be shut down and find some better facilities for the caged animals there.

This place totally beat our expectations. I’ll be honest, it’s a little worn and needs some updating when you pull up. We almost turn around and left. Don’t judge a book by its cover. We pulled through the gates and laughed and even laughed more. The animals are use to getting fed so run up to your car when you enter. Some of their actions are hilarious. There are so many animals to drive through and view. The petting zoo area is nice too. Was a very nice family oriented place. We highly recommend it and will be back again.

Great experience, but as a veterinary technician, I couldn’t help but notice some of the medical and husbandry issues seemingly not being addressed in the petting zoo area. The juvenile capybara’s skin looks pretty scaly with lots of hair loss. The Moluccan cockatoo’s beak was very overgrown and looks pretty uncomfortable. One of the donkey’s had front leg lameness, and a very sad looking goose had filthy feathers and was holding a leg up - I really wanted to help it. I did ask the front desk how often a vet comes out to do rounds or provide treatment, and he said “whenever it’s needed”- I explained that it certainly is needed, but he seemed indifferent. The drive through part was wonderful, 5 stars.
