Saying the receipt was correct and I was wrong
Without even looking at my receipt or asking me what I was over charged for

Dollar General's staffing approach seems quite unreasonable to me, as they rely on just one clerk to handle all tasks, including stocking and operating registers. This puts immense pressure on the poor girl, who is clearly overworked and underpaid. Moreover, their self-checkout system is hardly functional, which makes me question the competence of those responsible for its setup. The customer service experience is abysmal, as the staff is constantly running around in a chaotic manner. It would be more sensible for Dollar General to assign separate individuals for stocking and operating registers, rather than burdening one person with everything. Consequently, I have decided to refrain from shopping at Dollar General in the future.

Went in for some snacks and beverages this Monday. One employee "Lynette" (unsure of spelling) was acting horrible to fellow employees, the Coke vendor and customers alike. She loudly complained that the vendor should expect to wait due to the time of his arrival (about 12:30) and barked at her fellow employee for the hand scanner. She then proceeded to angrily slam refrigerated goods around while stocking.Meanwhile the older lady with white hair happily checked out customers, helped the Coke vendor in between customers and provided helpful directions and product locations. I've seen her in there many times and she always keeps her cool.Perhaps the other employee could take some lessons from her and/or attend a training for stress management. (being said, the store wasn't really that busy)The store itself was pretty messy but to be expected when staffing is minimal. The reason for my low rating is because of the angry and disrespectful employee. If when that situation improves, I will amend my review accordingly.
