if I could I would give this company O stars!! Avoid this company all together. Purchased a king I8 mattress with adjustable base on 11/24/23 with a delivery date of 12/09/23 between 1:30-4:30. Got called at 1:50 on the delivery date by Customer Service to tell me my order wouldn't be delivered today because they order wasn't at their delivery warehouse and would have to reschedule delivery on 12/20-11 days later! I asked customer service why they weren't aware that my order wasn't there first thing on the morning of 12/09 and all they could tell me was this was the info they received. So this big company doesn't communicate this internally that the order won't go out. I said that there is no way I should be pushed back for delivery until 12/20-basically the back of the line, and that I should be ahead of any other scheduled deliveries they had after my original date. The best they could do was 12/13. Called the rep at the store the same day and told him what I was told and he said that their store has been dealing with irate customers with the same issue all day long. rep called me back and checked my order and confirmed it was at the delivery warehouse on the day it was supposed to be delivered to me. He told the store already had 3 cancellations over this and i would be the fourth if I cancelled which would have cost them over 35k in sales from that day. I wanted compensation from Sleep Number for this because I was flat out lied to! Our rep contacted his district Manager and followed up with a text message to me on 12/11 stating that the DM would gives us back 5% off of the original form of payment we used after taking delivery. Delivery and set up came on 12/13, but never got the 5% refund put back on the credit card used for this purchase. Made several calls to the store (Store # 10371 in Metairie, LA.) and went in the store right before Christmas and was told the DM was out on vacation for the holidays by the rep at the store. He emailed the DM because he felt that this should have been addressed like stated back on 12/11. Finally today 12/30 I get a text message from our rep stating that the DM approved our 5% refund amount of $334.93 as a store credit. So basically this DM lied to me as well. Why would I want to continue to do business with this company when they have repeatedly lied to me? IMO this company cannot be trusted to do what they say.

Read this review carefully. We gave the store 5 stars. Our sales person, Ben, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, he was kind, and did not try to push anything super expensive on us. We had done substantial research prior to arrival at the store, but did not disclose that to Ben, our sales person. When we arrived, we were greeted, offered waters, and then jumped right into finding our sleep number. We were placed on a bed with a screen over head. Ben adjusted our firmness to our liking with patience, as it was slight changes that were initially hard to distinguish. Once we felt supported and comfortable, the screen on the ceiling showed us our pressure points prior to adjustment, and then our pressure relief after adjusting. I've had multiple back surgeries, so spine relief was very important to us. The sleep number showed how pressure was relieved on my lower back, and for those who are skeptical this could be a gimmick, it's been fantastic so far. Once our sleep number was found, we were shown a middle-higher end bed, got comfy in it, and then given a brochure of comparisons of all of the beds with prices included on them. Our salesperson gave it to us, and let us have about 5-10 minutes to ourselves to look over everything and discuss options--we already knew what we wanted, but this was very nice for the common person who may not know what they want or what's in their budget. Ultimately, yes, we did end up getting the top of the line, climate 360 bed. We were able to try the bed we wanted and test all of the features. We checked out, got approved for financing, 48 months zero interest, and bedding, pillows, sheets, etc. This process was phenomenal and easy. NOW, for the not so good part of this review. We were told delivery would be within 5 days, and scheduled a date. We were ecstatic! However, things are too good to be true. We were cancelled on our delivery the day of, after we both had taken off work for the delivery. We were super upset, but fine, we get companies are short staffed. However, we were then given a second delivery date 2 weeks later. Yet again, we took off work for the delivery, and this time, we were cancelled day of, but didn't even receive a phone call this time to notify us of it on the day of. This time we were extremely mad, and tried calling every corporate number we could to get a resolve. Nothing from anyone high up. But you know who came to the rescue for us? Ben, our salesperson at the Des Peres store. He got in touch with everyone he could in the corporate chain and fought for us. He got us significant money off, threw in anything he could to try to make this right, and got us a delivery date as soon as he could. Now, for the third time trying, sleep number finally got it right. Our installation was perfect, easy, and very helpful for us with the app and how to use our bed. Our bed is set up now and absolutely everything we could ask for and more! All and all, we had an amazing sales experience with Ben--5 stars.. The delivery scheduling/installation scheduling, gets an absolute negative stars rating--negative 5 stars. And the installation process, once finally corrected, 5 stars! The installers were professional, thorough, and on time of the delivery window. All and all, we recommend this store, highly recommend Ben, and getting a sleep number. Just be prepared for an absolute nightmare of a delivery date

Wanted new pillows for a housewarming gift for my daughter and was able to actually try out several types at the Sleep Number Store--something I was not able to do elsewhere. Both the pillows and pillow covers were on sale so that was another plus. The salesperson was very professional and knowledgeable--another real plus you do not often find. There are some purchases you just don't want to buy online; I am very happy with my experience at my local Sleep Number Store.

I went to shop mattresses with a friend since I was about to move out and we were about to enter the store when an employee stopped us from entering. He threatened to call security on us for no reason even though we weren't causing harm or making a scene we just wanted to enter and see our options. The store rejected our request and started dialing security. Huge discrimination on our behalf that the store saw us as teens messing around when we just wanted to shop for a potential bed. Would not recommend at all.

Our Sleep Number Expert was very knowledgeable. He spent time answering our questions and allowing us to try many different mattresses. We are satisfied we made the right choice for our needs because of his expertise.

Please don't buy one of these over priced air mattresses they aren't worth it. Spent over $8000 on it 2 years ago and it doesn't hold air. Called the store and was told to do some trouble shooting. Asked about the warranty and was told that I would have to pay money to get it fixed. Then the guy went on to say well you don't get a warranty for free and other mattresses you don't get a warranty at all. DON'T BUY.

Purchased 11,600 worth of product. Told by salesman that we had 100 day trial and could return if not satisfied. We signed contract without reading fine print (a mistake obviously but we trusted the salesman). Turns out only the mattress was part of trial and adjustable base and bed frame were final sale. Further, our cat immediately got stuck underneath the base and we could not get her out. When we went to return we were told we could only return the base. Sales tactics are incredibly misleading and no warning about potential harm to animals. Very very dissatisfied.

Sleep number located in the West County Mall in Des Peres Missouri. My personal sales person was Michael has been with the company for a while. I purchased my first sleep number bed in 2004 it was the 9000 collection which is no longer made at this point which is okay the mattress is still under warranty I love my sleep number so much that in October 2021 I purchase a new item i10 top-of-the-line sleep number bed from Michael the service was stellar. I love my sleep number beds while the price is very expensive of course but you pay for what you want. I've had my first one for 17 years and it has been the best experience I've ever had in sleeping. My SleepIQ managing the oxygen in monitors how many time I get out of my bed in monitors how many times you have a restful sleep in monitors everything I can see how well I sleep by looking at my cell phone every morning . Thank you for excellent customer service experience they have always worked very well with me. I'm in the circle because I'm now Proud owner of (2) sleep number beds both king-size and with all of that said I want to say thank you very much for excellent customer service and excellent top quality material. Michael and the sleep number team has excellent customer service. I love the pillows too. I have been a happy customer for 17 years and counting. I will return. Gloria~

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I am a Hispanic in my early 20s and I am not sure if the salesperson discriminated against that but he seemed extremely annoyed the second I walked in. I understand if someone is having a bad day, but in no way is that an excuse to treat someone so disrespectfully and look down upon them. When I walked in he asked me what can he help me with and I said I was looking for a mattress since I am moving to a new place. I told him I wanted to see if this was a good option for me and to test out mattresses. He said "this isn't like a Macy's where you just walk in and see if you like firm or soft. This is sleep number, do you even have one now?" At this point I wasn't interested anymore. He proceeded to say that this isn't what I'm thinking of or what I'm looking for. At which point I cut him off and said alright have a great day and left. I will not be considering sleep number anymore nor will ever recommend to anyone. This was the most negative experience I have had at, what I thought was, a respectable company. I pretty much felt like I got kicked out based on my looks, even though I have a hefty budget for a mattress. Worst salesman of the century. This is my first review ever, so that tells you how negative and impactful this experience was.
