“I had a wonderful experience working with Vera at your West County Mall store. I came in to return a pair of earrings I bought online. I couldn't find a another pair in the store that I wanted to replace them with. However, Vera listened to what I liked and found a pair online that are perfect. I made arrangements to have them shipped to me. I left and a bit later I received a call from Vera saying she found them in the store and asked if I wanted to come back and get them. She knew I was kind of hoping to have them for a vacation I was leaving for that week. I went right back and got them. That is truly listening to the customer and providing above-and-beyond exceptional service. I love the earrings! Thanks.”

“The clothes are beautiful, but they need to train their employees better on their return policies. Two of My daughters shop here also, so I had to return a few items. TWICE now when returning an online purchase, the employee looked at Me like I had two heads. Most stores have an automated system that looks up items by Your e-mail or phone. Carter’s store only needs a phone # and can look up any purchase without a receipt.
This place seems like it is trapped in the 90’s. When I tried to return an online purchase from just two weeks ago, the young employee just froze. I told her I was having trouble finding the e-mail. She had My account in the system, but literally just sat there staring at Me with no instructions??? I asked her what was wrong and she said “there is a sale price and a regular price, I don’t know which one?” Then she just quickly told Me to swipe My debit card and gave Me full price back (which is what I paid and I told her that) Very strange transaction and I have never seen this behavior elsewhere.
We looked around and found one more item too buy. I asked the next person what may have happened and she said “oh that is because You have to get a manager for online returns in the system.”
Sounds like things are not going as they are meant to be at this store.”
“I took in my 41 year old wedding ring and a legacy diamond engagement ring from my mother-in-law. The staff at Kay Jewelers in St. Louis county were kind, friendly and helpful. I had the diamond taken from the older ring and added to my wedding ring. It is so beautiful it brought me to tears. They did a wonderful job. The staff seemed happy that I was so pleased.”
