The lady who works at the Des Peres location is very rude. She yelled at us when we walked in the door at 5:20. Saying, she walks out the door directly at 6:00 so make a choice soon and that we could only use a card because she cashed out her drawer. At 5:35 she came and told us, she was closing and to leave. This store hours are till 6…. She was yelling at another customer when we left.

ZERO STARS. My fiancé and I have been return customers specifically for price only on certain items! The clerk/woman who presents herself as “manager” every time we go is always rude as hell, everything we try to buy there’s an issue with us buying. Most of the stuff inside is junk. The photos on Google look NOTHING like what it looks like in person. We bought a stove and had to return it because it didn’t work properly came back 2 weeks later the said non working stove was back on the floor for sale. The place always wreaks of cigarette smoke. Not a very friendly atmosphere. And most of the items are overpriced for used products.

The lady at the front desk is very rude! FYI she's will run people away from this location. Don't say thank you after a purchase or nothing. I will not be doing business at location again.

Clerk was talking to a friend and would not come to the counter to check us out. Multiple other employees walked by without acknowledging us.

The clerk was rude before we even got inside. They close at 6 and we showed up at 5:25. Before going in she said we only had about 10-15 minutes because she closes her shop up early. The way she was talking to us she just seemed angry and she made us uncomfortable. We looked around and left without purchasing anything because I didn't want to deal with her. The store in St Peter's is better overall including the people that work there.

Huge warehouse, with lots of tile, lighting, fixtures, etcetera, but I'm not walking around an un-air-conditioned warehouse in the summer. May be great; I don't know.

I would have given this place a MINUS 0 due to the rude & disrespectful clerk. She was hiding things for herself that she mentioned prior were for sale. Then she stated they were hers & I could not purchase them. Another woker came from the dock and said the lady was being untruthful. She yelled at us both and would not allow the guy to show me anything. I was extremely confused but this was a very unpleasant & unptofessional experience. She stated if i coouldnt pay more than the asking price it would be pointless to bring the item to the counter.

This is the second time I have been here. The same extremely rude and unhappy clerk was working behind the desk. I like the contents of the store. I feel very strongly that this place needs to find another clerk.

To be honest until recently I was unaware of this location for habitat. Had some build materials available that I was happy to donate

I love looking though their inventory to find that hidden gem. I've repurposed numerous items that with a little TLC can save you a bunch of money and get an end result that can fit right in with your ideas. These pendent lights came from the same kitchen table fixture that we reworked to fit in with our decor.

Not only well organized and well stocked, but with a good selection of like-new items. Especially good for random furniture and lighting finds. Plus the feel-good component of supporting Habitat for Humanity.

Good prices but hit or miss on items you can use.

I have heard a lot about Habitat for Humanity. Unfortunately, my first experience with them may be my only one because of how it turned out. I went to the ReStore address where there's a Sam's Club. The store employees at the location had not heard of ReStore. Repeated calls to Habitat for Humanity's listed phone numbers during business hours went to voicemail and I never heard back. One of the Sam's Club employees sent me on a wild goose chase outside to the loading docks at the back of the store. I saw nothing there but this locked shed (in photo). All this time, I was lugging around a set of beautiful but heavy faucets that I brought to donate in 100 degree weather. Despite what you may believe, non-profits are well funded and to waste somebody's time is negligent at best and callous at worst. To date, nobody has returned my calls which indicates a cavalier attitude. I have posted this experience as a caveat emptor as it may save someone else time.
