“The staff are incredibly helpful from the minute you walk in. There seems to be a great selection of outdoor camping gear, scout uniform materials, and pinewood derby kits. They are fully stocked! Was nice to browse through the options and read some of the handbooks. Reminds me of when I was back in Boy Scouts!”

“Home Sweet Home is an amazing to organization to coordinate a donation to. I wanted to donate my mattress and gave them a bit of tight deadline cause of my move. They were able to pick up my donation within my desired timeframe and communicated with me through every step of the donation process. “This place is amazing. We left well educated on wolves (and other species) from history to current events. The focus is clearly on always doing what it is best for the animals in their care.Plan to ask lots of questions. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions and even adding more information to the conversation. The research and science that goes into everything shows and was great to learn about.I bought tickets a few days in advance and would always recommend doing that as they do sell out. Also, plan to be outdoors for an hour or more to dress accordingly. Hot or cold it’s hard to enjoy the tour if you are uncomfortable. The only restrooms are port a potty so plan accordingly if you don’t prefer to use those.Overall, it was a great experience and am grateful we had the opportunity to visit.”

“HavenHouse was truly our safe haven when visiting St Louis for a medical appointment. From the start, they were the best. Easy to make the reservation. Answered all questions when I called (and called back and back and back again!). They even called a couple of days before to confirm the reservation. Not only did they provide an affordable room, they treated one adult per room and children under 12 to the buffet breakfast and also gave us, free of charge, one meal (which we had as lunch) and snacks and drinks. To top it off, they allowed us to borrow a microwave and use their freezer! It truly was a saving grace and we wish they were in all states we visit for medical appointments as they made us feel cared for, like we had friends we could ask for help. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough.”

“Went there to see if I could find some Capri pants, found 2 and also a pair of jeans and pair of slacks. I started looking at shirts ended up getting 4. All together I had 9 pieces of clothing and only spent $38 pretty darn good!! Only one problem they don't have dressing room's so I need to bring one pair of pants back but for the price I don't mind. They have a 14 day return policy!”

“Large store with much better selection of housewares and clothing than the Florissant location. Lots of crystal glassware, dishes, and kitchen items still in boxes. When a pair of Crocs are in the locked display case, though, you can't imagine you'll find much of quality name brands.”

“I donated a box of clothes here recently, and five days later realized that my high school class ring was in that box. I immediately called the store and the manager, Sanela, took all of my information and promised to search through the donated jewelry. She said it could take a while to track down (if it hadn’t been sold already), but 10 minutes later she called me back saying they’d found it! It was back in my hands later that same day. Thank you so much Sanela and team!”
