The clothes are beautiful, but they need to train their employees better on their return policies. Two of My daughters shop here also, so I had to return a few items. TWICE now when returning an online purchase, the employee looked at Me like I had two heads. Most stores have an automated system that looks up items by Your e-mail or phone. Carter’s store only needs a phone # and can look up any purchase without a receipt.
This place seems like it is trapped in the 90’s. When I tried to return an online purchase from just two weeks ago, the young employee just froze. I told her I was having trouble finding the e-mail. She had My account in the system, but literally just sat there staring at Me with no instructions??? I asked her what was wrong and she said “there is a sale price and a regular price, I don’t know which one?” Then she just quickly told Me to swipe My debit card and gave Me full price back (which is what I paid and I told her that) Very strange transaction and I have never seen this behavior elsewhere.
We looked around and found one more item too buy. I asked the next person what may have happened and she said “oh that is because You have to get a manager for online returns in the system.”
Sounds like things are not going as they are meant to be at this store.

While shopping around, I came across cute wedges and dresses. While in line for the firing room, to try on the dresses, I over heard a blonde, young lady offering a customer and her young daughter her personal discount. She said she would purchase the clothes for them and use her own store discount. After trying on the dresses we approached her to ask if they had a specific size in wedges I loved. To which she said “I’ve sold them all”, without bothering to check or offer any other options. I didn’t appreciate the customer service received by the first associate, especially after I spent over $200 at this location. Which doesn’t include the online purchase I made. As I found that odd I decided to find another employee, James. James was extremely helpful and actually went and checked to see if there was any available. With him verifying that they were sold out, I was then able to order them online.

Love it here. The young lady at the register was very sweet and helpful. The store is very clean.

Cute store and clothes, unfortunately the employees weren't friendly at all. I was looking at a rack that was on the sales floor and the employee came and pulled it away and said this isn't available to shop from. Very snotty. Maybe don't have it on the floor if it's not ready?

The staff is wonderful and the store is beautifully decorated, well organized and the dressing rooms are nice. Their prices are a bit much.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. A friend went here to buy some cloths and when doing so was questioned about the size she was buying and if it was correct for her. Very rude to make someone feel body shamed, as if buying cloths isn’t mentally taxing enough. She should NOT have had this encounter and I hope no one else has to in the future. An adult woman checks the size she grabs, she knows her size and what size she will be comfortable in. Unless she asks for help mind your business.
