A great hidden gem off the beaten path. The park is well maintained. It's a short quarter mile walk from the parking lot back to the mill. There are a lot of picnic tables and benches to sit and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.Guided tours are offered. There is also a longer 1.5 mile trail that loops around the area that I did not have time to take.Playground: There is a small playground adjacent the parking lot.Restrooms: There are permanent porta potties adjacent the parking lot.Picnic area: Lots of nice picnic tables and grills.

Lovely fall day, no one but us and the dog. Benches and bbq grills if you want to make a day of it. Worth a visit just for the view.Restrooms: Simple but clean. Located in the parking area.Dog-friendliness: Dogs need to be leashed but otherwise no restrictions, our dog loved paddling in the clear stream on the way to the mill.Picnic area: Benches and bbq stands available to use with a view over the mill lake.

Short easy hike to beautiful old mill. Tour guide was super sweet and even turned on the old machinery for my son to see.

We weren't able to have a complete route due to the extreme heat. However, the ladies that were there gave us a great abbreviated tour. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all our questions.

Hello,I wanted to take the opportunity to commend the staff at Dillard Mill historic site.My Amateur Radio Club spent the morning at the site participating in a POTA event and to the person we agreed that the staff of the site were exceptional in all regards and interactions, they took notice of what we were doing and showed high interest in our event. We have been to many different parks for Parks On The Air(POTA) events and while always welcomed thought you should be aware of the extra care taken by the staff at the Mill.Best regards,Mark ErvineSullivan Amateur Radio Club

Traveling through and we'd loved this mill. We paid $5 for the tour and enjoyed it so much. The park was exceptionally clean. This park and mill are a must goAPlayground: Very clean, a little small but there are plenty of other things to do here.Restrooms: Clean for a park bathroom but one of the restrooms had a door that wouldn't shut all the way.Picnic area: Very clean and plenty of tables and BBQ pits spread out. Also some water fountains were placed around
