I purchased my first Mercedes from Plaza a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to sing the praises of the Sales and Finance teams, especially Devin and Brandon (Hatch)! Devin was so knowledgeable about the vehicle that I wanted to test drive and really let the car do the selling. He was so excellent to work with and very friendly. Hatch made the typically awful finance part of the process so easy and also was a lot of fun for a finance guy! I am in love with my new car and would recommend that anyone interested in a Mercedes head straight to Plaza. Ask for Devin!

I was contacted by the Service Director - Craig G. Craig took complete ownership for the nearly month delay in getting back to me and made me whole. I updated the review from one start to two stars. I appreciate that after continuous follow up that Plaza MB got back to me and tried to make things right.
Review 8/23/24
Accidents happen. I wish it didn’t happen to me, but I had my Mercedes serviced at Plaza and had a terrible after service experience. Following my service A I took my Mercedes on the highway to Chicago. There was a heavy smoke when driving; after 40 miles of driving we stopped and found oil leaking and oil film on all over the rear of car-oil level was low. What a terrible predicament we found ourselves in; family was worried, we weren’t sure what was happening, just had our car in at the dealer with no issues reported. We bought and filled oil and limped 200 miles stopping, checking the oil, filling it - we were so worried we would damage the car. Upon arrival sent an email to our advisor Devin and while empathetic was not empowered to do anything. Craig the service manager was involved; but to date has taken no action. Found out that the leaking was caused by an improper sealing of the oil cap-the plastic engine cover supposedly gets in the way. This found after a complete check of the car. For an experienced tech this over site should not have happened, but it did; it was a mistake -they happen. Maybe the experienced techs don’t work the weekends? Despite reaching out several times seeking reimbursement of the service A; I had not received a response-not what I was hoping for. I think they saw it was an Illinois license plate and figured they’d see if I give up.

I would say it’s 10 stars. It’s a great experience buying the car here. Especially thanks for Devin (help me with all my questions and escalated to management team) Quentin (the most genuine person i see) and Matt (totally understand why he is the manager here, efficient, accountable). I recommend all buying cars here.

Plaza Motors Mercedes Benz is the best! I’ve been buying cars from Rickey Whittington for years and he is the best brand ambassador for Mercedes Benz. His knowledge and integrity is beyond excellent. If anyone is looking to buy a luxury automobile from Mercedes, I highly recommend Rickey!
