Accidentally called the wrong number but the lady was so rude about it. So disgusting. Just from that experience I'd never give this place my business but thankfully I don't live in god awful Missouri either. Have fun!

It appears that this bank strongly adheres to its name, "Union," in more ways than one. The employees here work at a slow pace and often seem inconvenienced when you approach them for assistance. If you're seeking a loan, they expect you to take on the task of tracking down the necessary lease payoff documents from various sources, which can be a time-consuming ordeal. When you try to contact them by phone, you'll likely spend hours waiting on hold with no guarantee of a follow-up or any form of customer service.I find myself reminiscing about my previous bank, where I had a dedicated banker whom I could reach out to at any time. They would efficiently arrange loans and deposit the funds directly into my account. I also had the convenience of stopping by their office at my convenience to sign paperwork. What I miss the most, though, is their proactive approach. They would contact me to discuss options for managing excess cash in my sweep account, ensuring my finances were optimized. I could simply send them a text, saying I planned to purchase a car over the weekend for a specific amount (even if I hadn't decided on the exact figure yet), and they would promptly deposit that amount into my account, allowing me to handle the paperwork later.In contrast, the current institution doesn't quite feel like a genuine bank. It comes across as more of a basic, entry-level bank with disinterested employees who appear barely engaged and unwilling to assist you.

I’m a customer showed up to clear up account question not conduct transaction. I realize that it was 2 min to 4 when they close but the door was locked. People were inside be served at teller. Employee w key to door hide so he didn’t have to deal with me. When other clients leftHe said he couldn’t help me and I had to come back tomorrow. Maybe your stated hours for account holders should read 3:30 since they aren’t currently accurate? Might save you some $ for employees who understand customer service.

I had a great experience at the Creve Couer location of First Community Credit Union. I was on a mission as there was a winter storm coming in the next few days or sooner as well as the holidays. I did not want to wait to the New Year to set up a couple of new accounts that I've been putting off forever. Oh and I had laryngitis at the time and was communicating only with my phone's text to voice app and hand motions and head nods and so on. I was able to get there around 11:00 a.m. on my lunch break and I didn't have to wait long. After I communicated with the nice bank teller, I soon met with Kyle Welge the branch manager. We were able to get what I needed done with ease. I appreciate it because I was short on time and was feeling self conscious about my voice situation. This is a great branch and I'm happy with my choice to bank with them.

We have been members of First Community since 2008 and I have had nothing but excellent service from everyone there. They have been especially helpful in processing insurance checks I received when my husband died a few months ago with no restrictions placed on any of the checks, regardless of the amount. They have always been very helpful, friendly and professional.

First Community used to be a really good bank to do business with. I have had over 400 dollars in fraud on my account that they refused to refund me. Then when I called to update my new cell phone number, they told me they mailed me a pin so I couldn't update it. So, what I learned is fraudsters have more access to my account then I do.

This place sucks to say the very least. I have closed my account here, and today my mother (a customer of 10 years) is closing hers. Debit cards are always placed on hold here with no explanation or warning. But today was the last straw. After the card was shut off, we called the union to get clarity. This is where the situation turned heinous. Specifically Mario and Josh from collections were extremely horrendous. Firstly, Mario would not give us his name after asking several times, then he proceeded to hang up on us and said it’s “our problem”. Upon calling again, Josh repeatedly raised his voice and ended up hanging up as well. We don’t want any more affiliation or aggravation from this union and will *gladly* bank elsewhere.

I am very disappointed with First Community Credit Union's customer service. My parents have been customers for over 15 years. Today, they had a teller and bank manager tell them that they place a 5 day hold on deposited checks for "certain people". This was a check from State Farm being used to pay workers. When asked when did this policy take place, the teller responded that she did not want to discuss it any further and the manager stated (again) that he makes the decision to do this for certain people. I would like to know what constitutes this category of "certain people" and why are they in this category? Secondly, is this now the way that representatives from your credit union speak to people or do they only speak to "certain people" in this manner?
