Doors was locked during business hours. Me and my child was not able to get in so when returning to my car and putting my child back in her car seat. Other people arrived and was able to get in just fine. So just wondering why the doors was locked to us.

I'm a new member. I'm totally disappointed with the service I received from Corbin or Corvin.He hung up on me. I called right back to his name. We should be nicer our members.

I have an auto loan through TCU. My first paperwork of any kind is two statements with different account numbers.no information on HOW to make a payment or set up an online account. I used the wrong one for the first online account set up so I had to do it again but I was only able to resolve that after calling the bank. The next month, I get an email saying that my payment is a week late because they changed my due date without telling me. The new date was 15 days sooner than stayed in my loan paperwork and on my statement. Again, I called the bank directly because the 888 line is useless and a PITA. The person was again very helpful and resolved the problem. The bank just needs to get their act together and communicate better

I've been with ABECU since the late 70's. I was looking on Google for a branch location and saw some disturbing reviews. I started reading them and couldn't believe it. One person posted several reviews that were ridiculous. He's blaming the lender for a bad car he bought? Since when does the lender become responsible for your purchase? That's the dealership. Others blame them for bad service. I've never had a bad experience. Never. Had many car loans and a credit card over the years. My guess is that if you are a good customer and pay your bills you will have no complaints ?

I had an experience with Nichole Danouse that was upsetting. We had a mutual client and he was asking questions and I joined the call. She was very short, rude, and condescending. I told her that she does not need to be speaking with our client or me this way.. she did not apologize. she just kept saying that he has asked this question 3 times already.. In my opinion. If a client ask a question once or tens times, it is our job to make sure they understand. This was a very unprofessional phone call with her and the client was sitting right there in front of her. I would not recommend dealing with this bank.

They do not answer the phone. May or may not return your call. Takes up to 3 days to return calls. Fees are outrageous. Interest rates are not competitive. Align themselves with fly by night insurance companies that are a scam.

I would like to start my review by saying, when the shelter in place went down in STL, AMCU immediately sent out a credit increase of $1000 to help us. I remember the worry melting away for a long moment. I really appreciated that. BUT! This credit union is so hard to get through to! I have been using online portals, mobile banking, and the internet proficiently for two decades now. But I cannot navigate this credit unions portals or even their phone lines! I have set up an automatic payment through the website on my own countless times and it does not seem to work. I went to the branch and set it up with a banker, that didnt even stick! After meeting with the banker, i did not check my balance anymore thinking the payments would go through and they didnt. So now I have this huge balance and all this interest even though I tried my best to avoid that. I call the number listed on Google to just make the payment over the phone since the website will not let me pay from a different financial institution. And I am redirected to different phone numbers every time until eventually I find the right one. It asks for all these member numbers and pin codes. I do not remember or have access to those so it tells me to enter my social. Great! I at least know that, i enter my social, and the operator just sits there. Nothing happens. Press pound key... nothing. I hang up and try again. But the operator won't even finish its directions now. I hate my credit being negatively effected for things that I am trying my best to fix and avoid. I understand that these things are often times user error... but working so closely with different data bases and computers and portals my whole adult life, i cannot believe that this is my fault. Please open the phone lines. Or just make the website easier to navigate. You have tabs that say things like "make a payment" "bill pay" "pay my loan" "manage money" "move money" "may CU loan" "pay" and NONE of them (i have checked for two years now thinking it HAS to be my mistake i am missing it somewhere) NONE of them take me to a place where i can just enter in my bank information and submit a payment to my AMCU credit card. The automatic withdrawal that I set up myself, with a phone operator, and with a branch team member do not work. Though I love that this credit union approved me for a loan to get the car that I rely on and love, then they helped me through the scariest time, this is the least user friendly and most confusing institution I have ever dealt with. I am happy to edit / remove this review if someone would reach out to me for assistance. I just want to pay my bills!

Very customer friendly. Not sales oriented so no rush. They answered any questions and when it was time for a mortgage, they were there with competitive rates. They even provided guidance after hours a few times. Would recommend!

My husband and I have been a member for a number of years. We switched to this branch after relocating to the area. I am not impressed with this branch nor the employees. Customer Service is non existent. We made a call to the branch Thursday of last week, as of today still no return call. We utilize bill pay, which we just started using for the majority of our bills. Bill pay is not accurate nor an explanation as to why. My husband placed a call again this morning to the branch and left yet another message asking for a return call. Seeing as how they close in 30 minutes we are really not holding our breath. At this point we are looking at going to another banking institution within the area. When the account was opened about 4-5 years ago we were fortunate enough to deal with a completely different branch in a different state. American Eagle is a good financial institution, however the Olive branch in Creve Coeur is beyond unacceptable.

I have no idea for some the crass reviews. Personally, I think they are just terrific. Always ready to help and they never seem to run out of money. I think they all deserve a raise or two!
