“Nice store on the "soft" grand opening day (Nov 13). There is no alcohol in the store as we were told that the facility hasn't received its liquor license.”

“This place is wonderful. Kind, knowledgeable staff, amazing produce, GREAT PRICES. I don't go anywhere else for my produce (unless it's something they don't carry, i.e. leeks). This place is a treasure and legitimate farmers markets are dwindling. If this place ever closes, I'll be devastated. Check it out, tell some friends about it.”

“This is a really spacious Aldi! The self checkouts are usually all functional, so there’s seldom a wait to check out. No big issues with availability of products or selection.”

“Great variety and such a mix! It's not just an Asian food store, it has foods from all the far corners of the earth. I'd recommend this to any foreign visitor looking for the ingredients to do a little home cooking. This the stuff you just can't get at Schnucks or Dierbergs. I should mention the staff are very helpful and friendly. Most of all my Ate Rezi insist on buying all her Asian veggies there.”

“I shop here at least once a month & sometimes doing the Christmas season to get everything that I need on my shopping list everyone is friendly & so nice but on top of that it makes everything so easy to find”

“Beautifully maintained store it's always an abundance of things to choose from! And the quality is great I just wish the Mexican/latino section was a bit longer but other that”

“This is one of the newer Aldi's, with big carts and wide aisles. The produce here is usually pretty good.I'm bummed that they have so many self checkouts, which means fewer staff. There was only one checker this morning, and that solo checker was also the one taking care of the self checks, so she had her hands full! She was amazing, but it was stressful. There were a lot of people there purchasing large orders that were not appropriate for the self check lanes.”

“A i like Aldi’s in general and I need this particular store because it is closest to my house, but it is too small, the isles are two crowded and most of times there is a lot to wait because people don’t care about other buyers and they stop with their carts in front of a shelf and they stay there forever! I would love it if Aldi’s would take over the big spaces and big parking lot of Weekends Only which just closed! Please, do that!”

“This review describes the Maplewood Aldi. This is a great location. They usually have everything that one needs and this place is fairly well-kept. This is a fairly popular location; especially with Walmart and a ton of other stores being around the corner AND the Metrolink being in the area. Plus, Manchester is a fairly busy street. Thus, due to the above factors, it's why a lot of people shop here. And this place can be crowded sometimes. The recent self-check machines AND the human checkout clerks makes the shopping process go fast. So, these things are some plusses to make up for the crowds comes.

I usually have great experience shopping here. The only thing I DON'T like about this place is when you are in the parking lot whether you're trying to go inside of the store OR when you walk outside of this store, there are might be pan handlers outside of the store begging for money. And they be right in front of the door too!! This is DESPITE there being a sign on the entrance door that says that pan handling is not allowed on the property. So, such might be illegal but people do it anyway; as there is usually nobody around to enforce the "no-pan handling" clause. And this can be an intimidating experience or could make you uncomfortable when you don't know the person who is asking for money and you don't know their intentions, etc. It could also be annoying for some when pan handling is supposed to be prohibited on the property. So, be ready for POSSIBLE pan-handlers when you shop here. Be ready to say "no" OR take an extra dollar or 2 for them. This doesn't happen every time and you may or may not encounter such. Also, I have shopped at this store for years and haven't encountered any safety issues yet But, it happens OFTEN ENOUGH! Such might be a symptom of the nearby Walmart and Metrolink station which together brings these types of demographics. Such is affecting a lot of businesses as of recent; not just Aldi.

Minus the pan-handlers, this store is MOSTLY fine! But, if you want less of the pan-handling experience, then go to the Aldi in Rock Hill which is very close by and is ALSO on Manchester; maybe a 2 to 3 miles up the street. Just go west! I gave that store a 5/5!”

“They have nice chocolates. I like that these stores are small and I can go in and leave quite easily. They have alternative brands for a lot of staple products. They have avocados, which I buy on occasion. I don't much care for their pre-made salads. Some of the lettuce bits are brown from dirt. Alot of their processed meats have sodium nitrite and nitrate and some processed meat products don't really have alternatives.”

“Honestly I love ALDI! The prices are wonderful and always has a great selection of products. I still have to go to some other stores for certain things. How much I save with this store tho, worth it. The parking lot is alittle wonky, only because people don’t know how not to enter the exit section lol.”

“ALDI is my favorite grocery store. I am a regular customer of the one on Kirkwood Road. I have a request from the management....PLEASE CONSIDER GRANTING YOUR REGULAR CLIENTS REWARD POINTS.
Have a wonderful evening.”

“This place was a blast i went with my family and we had a good time with the large playground and horse riding for my son. We took a hayride and walked around the pumpkin patch. Only downside here can be parking and the wagons they give you for pumpkins. On busy days, wagons are scarce and parking isn't crazy but crowded. All in all, it's worth it.”

“Fresh produce daily. Nice selection of cheeses. Self checkout unless you are paying cash. Limited staff so not as stocked or cleaned as often as it used to be a year or so ago. Prices are favorable and products are good. I don't buy much of my meat here but everything else I have purchased. Bring your own bags or purchase some there. You have to also visit the isle with housewares/outdoor stuff/miscellaneous stuff. I call it the bonus isle. You never know what jewels you will find.”

“There is overnight parking at the 6 docks the have off of the street. Keep in mind that docks 1 through 3 are only used for receiving now and 4 through 6 no longer are. So if you have to move over in the morning, you’ll fight some traffic, but it’s manageable.”

“Just moved to the neighborhood and I absolutely love this place! They have a great selection of produce fresh herbs even live fish! Tons of hard to find ingredients my curry has never been better! “This Is your typical aldi. If you've been to one of them, you've been to all of them. They have better prices then Walmart. However, not all of the items are consistently on the shelves. You may find a brand you like there and a certain type of food. The next time you visit, that may not be there. However, most of the inventory, it's consistently there day after day. You'll need to bring a quarter with you to use a shopping cart. You'll also need to bring your own bags or you can use some of their packing boxes. If you don't bring your own, you'll have to pay and buy bags from them. Restrooms are okay in regard to cleanliness, they could be better.”

“It's great having a better alternative to Schnucks. Better prices and quality is comparable to Schnucks. Between here and Costco most of my grocery shopping is done.”

“Lovely market with Bosnian traditional foods with a butcher attached. A wonderful place to stop and pick up some chocolates, cookies or baklava from the freezer.”

“Shelves were fully stocked. Plenty of room in the aisles. Very nice store layout. When you first walk in you enjoy the very open looking view. Feels good knowing you have room to freely move around. Workers appear very knowledgeable when asking where a certain item is. Are willing to even walk with you to the item if needed. Checkout was a good experience. Friendly greeting and wishing you a good rest of the day. Easy location to get to by public transportation. Has multiple bus lines that go to that location. Huge parking lot. So parking is not a concern as you have lots of spots to choose from.”
