My wife and I just had a very positive experience buying a new car. Pete Rice found exactly what we were looking for and then made a loaner car available as long as I needed it. They gave us a very reasonable deal on our trade in and JR Cochrane made the financing paperwork easy. Their service department is great too. As long as we are in Columbia, Missouri, we will always buy and maintain our cars with University Subaru. I highly recommend them.

My salesman, Nicholas, is absolutely top notch. Very professional, answers any and all questions, and will bend over backwards to help. JR in financing makes a dreaded process of financing a car quick and painless. The best car dealer I have worked with. Their customer service, great cars, and great prices on their vehicles is why I chose to purchase a second vehicle from them.

After a very annoying experience with a different dealership chain in Columbia, yesterday, I decided to stop in today and have a look. I was greeted promptly and asked if I needed help, which I know they all do that right? This experience was soon a lot different though. The sales person who helped me was Taylor. He listened to my questions and goals. Was patient with me, even when I opened the conversation with I'm not necessarily looking to buy today, and that I was just collecting ideas of what car I wanted to go with next. I felt zero pressure from him. He allowed me to test drive a car, and even had me go on back country roads as well as the highway so I could really get a sense of how the car handled. Much more than any other dealership usually allows. He answered my questions during our test drive and made it a great experience. When we got back to the dealership I was wondering what they would offer for a trade in on my current car and wanted to figure some numbers. He kindly had whoever it is that does that, look at my car and make me an offer. No credit check, or anything like the other dealership required before they would give me a number. They even offered $1,000 more than the other dealership had as well. This was actually my second time stopping by (the last time was over a year ago) and even though I did not test drive a car that day the sales person was very understanding then and answered my questions in a very non-pressure, and professional manor as well. One of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. Will definitely be going back when the time comes for me to actually purchase.

Friendly service with people who seem to genuinely care about giving you a good deal!I bought my first car from here, and Keith and JR walked me through the mountain of paperwork along with what each of the numbers meant. JR made sure that I knew what each number and paper meant and even pointed out things I should watch out for in the future at other car dealers so I don't get scammed. My dad and aunt were present for the paperwork process and they both said that no other car dealer had ever walked them through everything in so much detail. JR later shared with us that he had two teenage daughters. So in a way, it felt like JR understood what it was like to be in the shoes of a new car owner, and genuinely wanted to make sure I understood what was going on- just as I'm sure he would want for his own daughters.

First time getting a brand new car! Nick (Nicholas) and JR could not have left me with a greater feeling of confidence about my new purchase. They each took the time to walk me through, step by step, the entire process. If you’re on the fence about a new Subaru, at least go have a conversation with these gentlemen and let them instill the same sense of confidence in you that they did in me.

I had some tire repair done under the Subaru road hazard program and they got me in right away and fixed the problem. The service advisor guys were super friendly and helpful. The actual repair guy seemed a bit lost when i askedquestions, but all in all a good experience.

This place is top-notch. Working with the folks at University Subaru was by far the easiest, lowest-pressure car-buying experience I've had. Keith in sales was patient and helpful and JR in finance was super easy to work with. I will 100% be buying from these good people again.

Bought a used car and extended warranty from them. Fast forward a year still under warranty and was told I was out of luck and needed to take it somewhere else to get it worked on. The service manager repeatedly out loud laughed when asked about the coverage. She was very unprofessional!I will never buy from here again or use their service depth. Should go somewhere else.
