I went in to Ulta not really sure what make up products I needed for some specific issues. I needed foundation, concealer, and powder that wouldn’t settle into fine lines and help with dry skin not looking cakey. I also wanted a super hydrating primer. Luckily, Elijah found me and was a massive help. He knew exactly what I needed, and made sure it was correct with color matches. He spent a good amount of time with me, and helped my daughter find a fragrance that she loved. He was fantastic and really kind. I think I’ll call before I go in next time to make sure he’s working. That’s how awesome he was!

I went today to find a lip plumper and received help from Rose and Brandy. They were both very informative and helped me find a product that was within my price range, but could also do the job I needed it for. Rose offered multiple options for lip plumpers and walked me through the selection of lip sticks ulta has, since I want to add more color to my look. Brandy offered up new color suggestions that I normally would not pick out myself. Thank goodness she did though, because I ended up buying a color I never would have even considered without her help! 10/10 service.

Best place in town for makeup and skin care! Huge selection of all the best brands in the industry and everyone who works there is super friendly and awesome. Would not recommend getting your eyebrows waxed there tho it did weird things to my skin, might just be me tho ?

I wish the employees at this location and the Jeff city we're more help and had customers service skills. You used to need that in order to have a job but apparently the store managers and Dm, regionals don't really care. So I am going to apply there so I make friends with the girls and get paid to stand around and talk all day and no actually have to do any work.

This place could have 20 employees working and not will help you. No signs up for the ad this week but one item I went in for i knew was on sale and then i asked the cashier when does the sale end and she said "I don't know" How do you not know? I walked in and grabbed a basket and planned on buying a bunch but couldn't find a few things and since no one would help I only spent close to a hundred. They also have the worse hours. There is literally no store in 2024 that opens at 10 besides this place. Half of the day is basically over for some people. Get with the times.

Went in and knew what was recommended to me. I didn't know the store or where to find what I was looking for though. Eli caught me looking lost in a quick second and hurried over to assist me. He helped me find what I was looking for and since they were out of stock with the shade i needed, he recommended me to another similar product. Overall, great service with quick assistance. He also gave me a few tips to keep my look natural and upsold me some great mascara as well. Very happy and will be coming back for more!

I always loved finding my new scent at Ulta, so I was super disappointed last week to find ALL the perfumes are now locked in cabinets. I understand it's to lower costs because of theft but wow, I feel like you guys are going to lose out on a large population of women who rely on being able to take their time smelling individual fragrances.

I stopped in the Columbia, MO location after a HORRIBLE brow experience at another brow place in town. My brows were shaped uneven and tinted horribly. I was scheduled in with Hilda immediately and she worked her magic! I left with perfect brows and an awesome serum she recommended to help get things rolling with the process of getting my eyebrows growing back where the other place had ruined them. She was so kind and helpful! I will 100% be going back to her for all my future eyebrow appointments!!

Brandi is so amazing!!! I went in with no clue what I needed and she helped me try several different brands and color match each one until I landed on something I loved:) She is a gem and I am so thankful she was there to help me in an area where I do not have a lot of knowledge.. Rylee was super nice and understanding!! We ran into some issues with my hair (dark virgin hair moment) and my currently already blonde parts with the overlap and all but thanks to her help we were able to get the hair to a great color! Will be coming back and will recommend anyone seeing this to come see her as well!!!

I've consistently had negative experiences here. They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.I went in to make sure the shades in the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation I had ordered, matched my skin tone before I completed the pickup. I was swatching tones, and an older woman working the Clinique shop approached me, telling me I was picking the wrong shades. I told her I have a warm skin tone, and she offered me several foundations far from my tone. I asked her not to swatch any foundation on my face as I have terrible eczema and did not want to have a reaction. She proceeded to try to put foundation on my face after I asked her not to. Then she told me it was one of the worst foundations because of the oxidization. So I decided I wanted to just cancel the order. I went up to the counter and told them how I was basically unsold, and the worker said the order would drop off and I wouldn't be charged for the order. Later that day, I got an email after they closed saying it had been picked up. I called their number to talk to them about it, and they told me to call customer service. It was a bunch of back and forth, and I didn't get my refund until two weeks later.Another time, I was ready to make a big purchase, and I was waiting in what I assumed to be the spot to form a line, as they have no proper line management. The customers at the registers were being helped for a while, and I stood in line waiting patiently. Several times, associates kept asking if I was still finding everything okay, when I was clearly just waiting to check out. I wouldn't be standing a few feet in front of the registers on my phone for nothing. A line had formed behind me, and then another line had formed on the opposite end for the other registered. Minutes later, an associate told me and the other people in my line, that the line was forming on the other side, and that we would have to fall behind. I wish they had told me where the line was, instead of making me start over. I decided to leave. Several times, I was acknowledged and they had known I was waiting to check out.If you love poor service, come to Ulta. Otherwise, Sephora at Kohls is the way to go.
