I've bought several major purchases and what I don't understand Home Depot is you have cut your Military Discount down to a maximum allowance of 400.00 per year but yet I can't use it whenever I'd like 400.00 certainly isn't going to bankrupt your store. Wonder what the military would have told me if I told them I wanted to quit after I made 400.00. Trust me when I tell you I certainly tell The American Legion, The VFW and other disabled veterans at the VA...just so you know or if you care, Lowes doesn't set a limit on the Veteran's they serve.

We were just at this store looking for wall planking, the guy in the department had not a clue what we were talking about. Didn't bother to find anyone that did know, not sure why this guy even works there. Sorry Home Depot, Menards people at least try to help you, they will now get all of my business. I took the time out of my day to shop your store but you really didn't want my business. And I will spread the word.

We contracted Home Depot in Columbia to do a tile installation for us. The installation was a mess from the very beginning and today we learned that the installer has fallen through and apparently they can’t find anyone else to do it. Problem is that they already demoed two of our bathrooms and they are a complete mess. We are now left scrambling for a tile contractor and will probably have to live with demoed bathrooms for the next few months, if I had to guess. I have never been so unhappy with a service in all my life and I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your contracting needs.

Demanding that veterans download an app to get a discount is discriminating. Majority of veterans are over the age of 50 and like me don’t like apps and all the ads and garage that comes from them. What do blind veterans do to get their discount? Shame on you Home Depot.

I've been here a few times in June and July while fixing up a house in Fayette, MO. The staff is ok, but not overly friendly. I'd say they are not a happy bunch, so maybe the management is not very good to them. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard Home Depot that is right off the highway, so easy to get to. However, the staff, once again, is just not a happy bunch.

Poor customer service. Looking for a specific plant and website says to check store for availability. Three employees in garden shop and none could answer my question regarding availability. Asked for manager and was told he was in the store somewhere. I walked out and left other merchandise in the cart. Plenty of other DIY stores in Como.

My worst experience ever at a home depot. Not one person asked was able to or wanted to help me, told me an aisle and walked away. Went to buy a pretty good amount for home improvement project..walked out with nothing. Taking my business else where.

I had a bad experience in Home Depot a little over a week ago. I have been looking for a good lawn tractor and had become sold on the Cub Cadet. I went in to Home Depot, knowing that they carried the Cubs. I was looking for a 42 inch deck and all they had on the floor was a 46 inch, which I figured would be borderline outside my price range. The 46 inch was being offered at $1799. I got a nice young man, slender, dark hair who was clearly there to help me. I said "I have to a...

We ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot in Columbia, Mo and it was a 2 week wait for delivery. Great! Not a big deal. We can do dishes by hand. Our delivery was right on time, the guys who delivered the dishwasher were awesome! My husband opens the dishwasher, he is ready to install it, and realizes that the dishwasher has a piece that is broken inside of it. Not only that the dishwasher had water in it!! Why? We ordered a "new" dishwasher. Why is there a piece that is broken and why is there water in it? My husband called to have the dishwasher replaced and was never able to get through. He had to go to the store and speak with the manager. George the manager was rude, and when my husband asked for him to make it right like give us money off or a free install he was rude and said "well you didn't pay for it". Yes George you are correct. We didn't pay for it. We actually paid for a dishwasher that wasn't broken and wasn't already used. You would think the manager would make this right. Now we have to wait another week to have the dishwasher delivered, take time off work to make sure one of us are here, and make the poor delivery guys wait while we open the dishwasher and inspect it to make sure it's good. If I was the one who went to Home Depot I would have immediately asked for a full refund and taken my business to Lowe's. I'm so disappointed in their product AND the customer service. After I get my dishwasher from Home Depot, I will no longer spend my hard earned money there. Especially when they don't care enough to make a bad experience right.

I always liked Home Depot, but after seeing the comments from their founder about the Covid-19 Pandemic, I will not be doing any more business with them.

I do not recommend them right now. We ordered a fridge and washer/dryer about 3 weeks ago to be ready when we move into our new house. We called that night to up the delivery time to soon rather than later.. then I noticed today (the delivery date) well they haven't called me when they'd be at my house... I called whirlpool to ask about it and they said home depot never told them they date had changed.

Always walk away with a great experience. Tom instrumental with the flooring department. Not at all frustrated with my complex estimate. He joked and laughed through it all!

Home Depot makes up appliance delivery dates to trick people into buying appliances they would not otherwise buy. On May 25, I ordered a new range, delivery date of June 1. Waited around all day, called, nobody knew what was going on. Today I find out the range will not be delivered until June 12. If I had originally been given a delivery date of June 12, I would have looked somewhere else. Now if I find one somewhere else and return the one that hasn't been delivered yet, I'll be looking at a delivery date around June 12, so it's not worth the effort. This is the second time this has happened. Don't buy any appliances at Home Depot!!

Lazy, lazy, lazy...bought a vanity...no one to help load it, then brought crappy vanity back, no one to help unload it. Just a bunch of kids standing around gossiping and staring. Never again, I would say contractors keep this store in business because they are awful with the public.
