“Road trip from Minnesota to southern Missouri. Had a problem with the AC and called from the road. AJ was able to get us in and solve the issue within an hour. We were back on the road with barely a delay. Great service. Great explanation of what was happening and how he repaired things. Very reasonably priced. “UPDATE 10/30/2024: Went to get my son's car serviced. Again everyone was very cool, polite and informative. The technician Christopher did a great job and kept the car clean. Eric, up front along with his manager, was great as usual and even went the extra mile to help a non-English speaking fellow get his truck serviced and paid for with the finance company they work with. He spent at least 40 mins with this guy and not once did Eric show frustration. He showed professionalism beyond belief. Plaza Tire on Grindstone will be our families go to spot for these great reasons.

“Excellent service the whole way through. Dropped my car off in the morning for a MO state vehicle inspection. Really old car so knew there was a lot to be done.
The service agent called me up and went through everything that was wrong with it, and then went over only the parts that were needed to pass. The ones I turned down they went over the time I have left on them, a rough estimate of price if I wanted to come back in the future.
In short, they could have easily uphold me on stuff that didnt actually need to be done right then.
But they didn't, they were very honest and I would use them again in a heartbeat.”

They found me an excellent deal on a tire set that didn’t break the bank & they replaced my fog light literally within 20 minutes of me dropping it off. “Pomp’s tire in Columbia Missouri is hands down THE BEST! We picked up a nail driving this morning and stopped by Pomp’s with my newborn and 4 year old! They had us back on the road in no time and had the best hospitality! The attendant was super helpful keeping our daughter occupied! He helped her turn the tv to cartoons and got her snacks out of the vending machine! Thank you for taking care of us!”
“Huge selection of parts. I am amazed. Went here for part for my friend's Civic, they had the exact part I needed. They were extremely nice and went out of the way to get the part for us. “I recently had a flat tire on I-70 around Booneville. The flat tire happened at 1:00pm. I called the shop and asked if they could install 4 new tires. They had the tires in stock, and said to come on in. They fit me in quickly and got me back on the road in no time! Very efficient service! Great price!”
“I needed to get a safety inspection done immediately so that I could register my car. All the shops that I called were iffy on if they’d be able to get me in same day, until I called Midwest Autoworx. They said they could have me done by lunch. So I went and dropped my car off then Ubered home.
A few hours later, I got the call from Autoworx that I didn’t even need the safety inspection because of the mileage and year of my car. So, I wasted over 3 hours for nothing (my fault not Autoworx), and they saved me some money by not just doing the inspection and charging me anyway. So, I really appreciate the honest and efficient service from Midwest Autoworx. They were top notch on a very hectic day of running back and forth to get my car registered.”

They have always been fast and the job is always done correctly. When they give you quote on the work that needs to be done it is 99% accurate or less. “LOVE McKnight! My car’s a bit older and I’ve gone to them for several things over the years. Each time I’ve come by, the guys at the desk are so nice and accommodating, and happy to explain anything (especially as someone who doesn’t know a ton about cars.) My car blew a flat today and they patched it up quick and last-minute for me, free of charge! I’m so happy to have found a local mechanic that I can trust.”
“Not from the Columbia area, I had low tire pressure in a tire (nail in tire), I asked some local City of Columbia workers where to take my SUV. All of them said Mike’s Total Service.
They were right in the money. They had my tire fixed in 20 minutes and they were even busy (super bonus - he was super nice). You don’t get service like this. I will definitely be back to replace all 4 tires. I would give 10 stars if possible.”

“Man this place was the best ,, had the 2 tires I needed for my 2011 Ranger , price was great , fast service friendly people , family owned and operated I can't say enough good about this place ,!!!! Pet friendly, !!!!
