“The first thing I want to let everyone know is that all of the people I have meant, that work there are absolutely wonderful! The normally have a shopping cart out in front with free stuff in it. I find some pretty cool stuff in it every now and then. Prices on most things are not unreasonable. Wonderful place. They have , like a wish list. You fill out a little piece of paper with what you want, if and when it comes in, they will give you a call! Also, be for warned, if using a credit/debit card, you need to buy 7 bucks worth of stuff. They get charged for running cards otherwise. It's a not for profit, everyone can can do that to help others.... Have a Blessed Day!!!”

“The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Columbia, Missouri is a very popular place. It is run by good natured volunteers. My hats off to them. Their services are remarkable & highly appreciated. It is recycling center. Lot of people have abundant items to discard, they bring them to The Salvation Army Store, where volunteers sort them and then the are put into the store to be bought by so many people who can not afford to spend lot of money. Frequently, some items are given free as well. This store serves a large population of poor people. They do an excellent job. They always need volunteers. If you can, please help. They also accept all kinds of donations. Thanks.”
“One of my favorite places to go in Columbia, though I only get to go, once or twice a year, because I am nearly 80 years old. I love it when the upper-income donate something I cannot afford to buy, and I can get it here for so little money. I love the staff, too. Nice folks.-Delcia Crockett- Columbia, MO.”

“I’ve been buying and selling at this sale for the past several years and it’s wonderful! It’s the perfect opportunity for families to clean out outgrown/ unused kids items and to replenish growing kid’s closets. The sales floor is organized so well that it makes shopping a breeze.”
