Renting from this place has been a dismal experience. "Sign before Christmas to lock in this year's rate." Nope -- didn't happen. Rent prices still went up. We also got to pay at the beginning of August for the entire month, even though the move-in date wasn't until Aug. 16 (within a two-hour window, I might add). Finally, the rooms in a four-person apartment were assigned by the company -- but they're not all the same. Some rooms have more windows, larger closets, etc. Of course, all roomies pay the same amount. Wholly disappointing! NEVER AGAIN!

Worst place to live in como

Maintenance went into my room prior to the end of my lease and took my belongings, changed my locks, and then they lied about it saying they didn’t. Zero accountability across anywhere. Don’t rent from here, seriously.

Absolutely worst place I have ever lived. The people that work in the office are the rudest people I have ever had to experience. Every single time I try to talk to them they start with attitudes and just get worse. They are only here for the money and will drain every penny from you. DONT LIVE HERE!! What ever you do, do not move here.
On top of rude staff the wifi if always out including during finals week, got renters insurance and they still charged me for theirs wouldn’t do anything about it, constant break ins, the pool is small and crowded, dogs peeing in the hallways as well as constant smell of cigarette smoke.

Great roommate matching , Great Maintenance Group and Staff. They help you in your personal life if you are struggling, they will give you their own personal opinions and advice. Had Good amenities and activities but the down part about this place is the bedrooms are basically 8x10 feet and literally nothing but the bed, desk and chair is the only things that would fit. It felt I was like In a jail cell, being all crowded. If you’re looking for small room and cheap rent, this is very iffy. Not the only one saying that. It felt like my bathroom was more comfortable to sleep in/on. I had to move to a different place simply because their space is not worth it and had better things to spend money on. Not to be an @$$ but there’s absolutely no space for your own personal belongs in your own room such as a tv, extra chair or desk. I used my own furniture and stored their furniture in my own personal storage unit and brought it back when I moved out. If you want to sign a lease, your better sign for 2 rooms and double rent, which is iffy as well. They are very picky and strict about their rules and if you anyone disobeys them, they blame the all the residents, not the individual. If I ever look for an apartment, I’m choosing a place for value over price and worth it, somewhere were people don’t blame the community. Also they have no security cameras in the parking lots and lots of theft and stealing as occurred. They upgraded their security a little by hiring a company from Kansas City and that fixed a little .Also looking at at place with better security. To me this place is worth like $250/month if not less but instead they charge you up to $500 or more without utilities and extra fees. I paid $485/month for a four bedroom and my rent was a $100 because of utilities, admin fees and extra services such as pest control and trash fees. Not worth it.

The Den is a great place to live for college students. It has a very nice pool for when it’s warm out and a gym!! They always have coffee and snacks out. Definitely recommend.

I have lived at the den for the 2023-2024 school year, and I think this complex is nice for sophomores and transfer students. Every apartment complex is going to have upsides and downsides so that’s why I am giving a 3 star rating because I would say it’s fairly in the middle. For the price, the apartments are pretty good!

Love the den so much! Was the best choice for off campus living and is so close to Walmart!

The Den has suited me and my roommates nicely for about six months now. I really enjoy the den, and every time I bring a guest over, they say how much they love the amenities. One of the most popular amenities is the Starbucks Machine. But I think the overall good thing about The Den is how friendly the staff is. They always make sure that you can go to them if you have any concerns, and it’s really affordable for what you get. They have a lot of events; like tomorrow, they’re having a grab-and-go Chick-fil-A. Overall, the atmosphere here is really good. And I can’t wait to see what the next three years will bring me

I didn’t have the best experience touring at other apartment complexes in Columbia, but when I went to the Den, Olivia was so excited and seemed very happy to give me a tour. She made a point to get to know me before she tried to sell to me, which I appreciated so much. The Den is the best choice in Columbia.

The Den and its employees has made my college experience so much better, especially Olivia. The rooms are bigger than I expected for a college apartment and maintenance responds quickly. Can’t recommend the Den more!

Great amenities, staff, and amazing roommate matching! So far I've enjoyed my time here. Olivia made the signing process super easy and seems genuinely interested in helping me whenever I've needed!
