Said they'd make a replacement card and put it in the mail on Monday (I called on a Saturday for a replacement card). Over a week later and no card still, so I call and it was never even made.update: they were very nice and got my card printed in like, 5 minutes.

Good location and very friendly employees. The best bank in town!

Honestly, it's one of the least convenient banks to go to. The staff aren't helpful and every bank of theirs I've been through, the workers tried to help me the least as possible. I'm generally a kind and understanding person so I didn't ask for the terrible service.

"Bad" doesn't begin to describe the service this Bank provides these days. Until just recently, I had banked with Callaway Bank since the mid-90s, so I thought that length of good customer history would count for something. I started looking for a home loan earlier this year and naturally started at Callaway Bank since I was already a customer. Before the application process, I was quoted 4.5% APR which I was willing to accept as long as the process went smoothly. Once I actually filled out the paperwork for the pre-qualification, I never heard one word from my loan officer, even to this day after living in my new home. After waiting an entire month and leaving voice messages and emails asking for a status update on my application only to get no response, I started looking elsewhere. I submitted paperwork with Missouri Credit Union for pre-qualification on a Wednesday afternoon, had approval on Friday, and then I received final loan approval by the end of the next week. In fact, I closed on my new home and have now been living there for a month and STILL have not heard anything from Callaway Bank. On top of that, my interest rate at MCU is 3.5%. Long story short, if you're looking for a "small town" bank, keep in mind how slowly those small town things operate. If you're looking for a bank where services are provided in a modern timeframe, look elsewhere. If all you're doing is keeping money in a checking and savings account, I guess you won't notice much, but try using a service and you'll soon find out why this bank just can't keep up with the times.
