After waiting about an hour to get to first in line, the two stylists took number 3 and 5 inline.This then pushed my wait back another 20min. No explanation given for this. I know myself and another walked out.

I have been going to this barber shop for a while now and I have never been truly satisfied with my haircuts until about a month ago. I have gotten two haircuts in the past month by Sal. Both of the times I have left satisfied. Not only can he do a good fade but he made all my requests happen. Definitely going back!

These so called “ladies” are extremely RUDE and are extremely hateful. Go to any other sport clips in Columbia. But these chicks need to reevaluate their career. They suck and I wouldn’t get a hair cut from them for free.

I don't normally leave negative reviews, however I am someone who believes we can all learn from them and continue to grow and get better at what we do professionally. I have been a customer of Sports clips for over 5 years. I usually go to the one in Jefferson City. But today I decided to go the this location after work. I was the only customer in there when I arrived. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted. It was a version of a Mohawk with a hard part line with the back being somewhat shorter than the top. The stylist did not look at the picture, she did a decent haircut. However it wasn't what I asked for. It was basically a high and tight. The top was cut entirely too short and the back shows no Mohawk with no difference then the sides. She did not put the part in and when asked about the front. I told her to not cut anymore off because I didn't want it that short. She responded with really you want to leave it like that? I will not be returning. It wasnt busy at all. Only one other customer came in while I was there. So for her to not to take the time to understand the customer was upsetting. I was not offered the MVP like normal which I usually get. My hair is way to short and not what I asked for. It will grow back, no real problem. I hope that She can learn from this and grow to be better. She was the African American girl. Don't know her name.

I have rarely written poor reviews, I think everyone is allowed to have a bad day. But this one was bad enough that I am writing it just after I got out of the store. I have been coming to sports clip for my haircut for the past 4-5 years. I usually went to one is Mission, Kansas and it was always awesome. I moved and recently went to the one in 1105 Grindstone parkway, Columbia, MO. The first visit was great. Today was my second visit. The first word out of my stylists mouth was “I don’t know how to say your name.”. That’s fair, can be difficult to pronounce. Then, the next 4-5 minutes was rudeness I had rarely encountered . Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe working on a Sunday wasn’t ideal. But, if you are earning money for your work which you choose to do, there is basic decency people paying for the services expect. Don’t have to go out of your way to be nice and smile all the time, but just done be rude.Had a good run with Sportsclip. Looks like it’s time to move on.I am hoping I don’t get burdened with calls from customer service.

The haircut was good enough. Not exactly like the photo, but it will grow back. Maybe put testers out so customers don't have to open the top to smell the product. At the very least, don't be rude about it. I found the product I was interested in online and will buy it there

I scheduled through the app one hour ahead of my arrival time. After I booked my appointment online, I called the person who I scheduled my appointment with “jerri” she told me that it will be less than an hour. Wait. I showed up 15 minutes before the scheduled time. As I walked in, I said who I was and she said “ we will be with you shortly” an hour and a half went by and randomly, she said to the other waiting customers and I “ I’m sorry but we’re going to have to close we don’t have enough time”. If I could give this post negative stars I would.

Been a few times and have always gotten a great haircut. Close to my home and usually shopping places. I would highly recommend signing in on the app BEFORE going to the store. They are usually so busy and so short staffed that they can not accommodate walk ins.

So, so bad oh my gosh. My haircut took an hour and a half and had to be fixed by a different stylist 2 days later. Said stylist actually laughed multiple times while cutting my hair because of how bad it was. It was funny, but that’s not how you want your hair to look! Won’t be back, sorry!

Checked in online. Arrived 15 minutes before my check in. 20 minutes after my check in time I am finally up and they call up the person after me. I waited for the other stylist but she never came out from the back. I just left and will likely never go back.

Was unable to use business for haircut at 430 pm with sign on door that said closed at 5 due to staffing.... it's not even 5pm... what happend to the days where if no one could cone in its on the franchisee or manager to fill in... terrible business model

Spencer was amazing, very friendly and did a wonderful job on my hair cut and beard trim. I dont think I've talked that much to a stranger or even a hair stylist before. Would definitely go back and also recommend. The location was also very clean and at the time I went in there wasn't a lot of people. So the store as well as Spencer both get 5* from me.

They give decent haircuts occasionally but 50% of the time I dislike my haircut when I get it at sports clips and that same percentage applies to the amount of times they didn't listen to what I asked for. They are professional, about average price for a haircut and actually have a decent price for a beard trim. I do like being able to check in via the app, that is convenient and half the reason I go but be prepared to possibly have your haircut be not what you asked for.
