Regions offers banking and investment options and I was able to transfer my 401k from a previous employer into investments that best suits my needs. Tim, Justin, Michael, George, and Kathy are exceptional. All are professional but friendly and don’t rush you. They explain everything in detail. Great bank that I have banked with for 30 years.

This incident occurred at the Paris Rd location-however, the assistant manager there stated she spoke with the manager at this location (Providence) who reaffirmed her stance and stated that they could not provide the document, which is required by the US government to sponsor a refugee from Ukraine.See below:First-I have banked with Regions for a very long time-at least a decade. I’ve had two mortgages with them. I’ve generally been happy with the service they have provided.Today I’m doubting if I will continue to patronize their business-read on to understand why.My wife and I are planning to sponsor some Ukrainian refugees (the gov refers to them as “parolees”) under the uniting for Ukraine program. We need specific documentation that is mandated by US Customs and Immigrations Services.I arrive at the bank only a few minutes after they’re open today and request a document showing my current account balance, my total deposits for the last year, and when the account was opened, this signed by a bank officer. I spoke with Emily, the Assistant Manger. Apparently, providing customer service is dead, because they were absolutely uninterested in meeting this request-a request necessary to be able to sponsor Ukrainian refugees and information that is MANDATORY to provide to the US government. Worse yet, the bank manager went online to see if I was correct, presumably not believing that this is an actual requirement of the program. If I cannot find another, more reasonable branch in another area, I am effectively prevented from being able to sponsor a Ukrainian refugee because of my bank’s incompetence. If you want a bank that follows ridiculously rigid guidelines, this is the place for you. But if you want a bank that provides quality customer service, go to a different branch.Way to effectively give the finger to Ukrainian refugees, Regions!

not a good bank never open after 5:00 when most people need to do their banking, they are not open on saturdays also the lobby is often closed and the banks are always short staffed which makes the staff that is there cranky.

Their loans are great. They are not available during the weekends. Availability of ATM'S is bad. People are super friendly. Mainly just wish weekend hours and ATMs were more available.

Great customer service; I needed to open a new checking account after moving from another state. Region's had an amazing promotion going on and the process was simple and straightforward.

This branch states that it's opened but noone answers the phone! Are they closed today due to weather? Aside from that, I have tried to speak to a live person by internet and through the toll free number, still unsuccessful at this point..

My review is for the company and not this particular branch. I have been an account holder with regions for around 8 years, rarely had any over draft fees, never written a bad check or tried to cash one, however as I'm dealing with disability and having some financial trouble I've had now 2 instances where checks written (by my own father, same last name, obviously family) have had major issues when trying to deposit. The first one was over 1k, so I get having some delay, but there was no warning and funds I needed within 48 hours were held for almost a week. Obviously with the second one (under 1k) I tried to do immediate deposit and accept the fee, but despite it being from a previously cleared bank, that I've formerly had no issues depositing check from, it declined, and the real problem is while I could've taken it to a branch of their bank the next day I've now endorsed it for regions mobile and can not take it to a branch to cash! I am a proud person who struggles to ask for help until well after I should have, and as a result when I do ask for help I need those funds immediately, this is the last straw with me for Regions who have previously given me no issues and I will be finding another bank as soon as I'm back on my feet.

I just use this bank for the ATM but they have multiple options for no fee accounts which is great.

Excellent personalized customer care. The staff greets you by name. The personal bankers help you to establish and achieve your financial goals. Regions by far is the best banking experience I've had, because they truly go above and beyond to meet my banking needs.

I was told that it was going to cost me $4.50 cents to cash a check. A checked that 1 of their customers had written to me for services rendered. I have never heard of such a thing before. I cashed checks all over town at all different kinds of banks and never had a fee. the teller working there said it was normal and every bank in town charges fees. I wonder if the account holders are aware that people they write checks too are being charged extra. Needless to say I did not cash the check. 4.50 is not much but I can not see paying them for doing nothing.

I was written a check by a Regions Bank account holder so when I took it to this particular branch the teller said it costs 1% up to $20 to cash the check. The check was for $355.00 dollars. She told me it would be $20 because 1% was $35. How can you work for a bank and not have any basic math skills? 1% of $355 is $3.55. She refused to cash it for that amount so I left. Horrible horrible horrible customer service and I don't know how anybody trusts their money with people who can't count.
