Justin was so rude to my grieving sister. She was upset having to handle the financial affairs for her deceased son. MCU employees need empathy and compassion training. One kind word could have changed the whole situation.

Buyers beware, if you get a loan with MCU they will not tell you they are auto charging you a $10 life insurance premium and it will be in the middle of your loan docs and they won't tell you about it. I NEVER elected to pay this stupid charge yet they said they include it in every loan packet saying that I elected this but they can't go back and ask the employee since he no longer works there.. I asked them to remove this and they said the person who did my car loan is no longer there S. Stegeman and they can't go back to look and see why this person fraudulently said we elected for this life insurance on our auto loan. I talked to the Regional Supervisor Ashley Branson and she rudely would not even look into our situation and said we can only cancel now even through we have been charged for over a year. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience with MCU. I closed out another loan with them in NOV, went into a location to pay off my other car loan and then had to come back a few months in person and asked for my auto payment to be canceled they said they would take remove it then and still it took 3 more months and many calls to managers for them to stop the auto payment of $450... they need to get there department in order. LOOK AT YOUR DOCS AND SEE IF THEY ARE CHARGING YOU A LIFE INS that you didn't opt in for....

This Bank has HORRIBLE customer service. It is always "let me ask my Supervisor". Yet, the Supervisors refuse to talk to their customers!!!! What is worse is that they just plain do not care. I was hung up on twice when I complained. Their lobby is closed on Saturday, so if you need a money order, or any assistance of any kind, you are out of luck. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This institution cares NOTHING for their customers. The ********************* is totally inefficient, it is a joke. The customer service in this department is horrible, I was hung up on twice.The supervisors REFUSE to speak with customers or address any problems and complaints. If you have a problem, DO NOT expect them to care. If you need something on a Saturday you will not get it, their offices are closed. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Instition.

I have been a member since the early 80s. despite the facts that I've always paid on time for several loans during all those years, they have chosen to take away my line of credit. I will no longer be a member after being treated like a no account low life.

Hours are not very convenient for working people. I work 8-5 M - F and need to do inside banking, ie cashiers checks etc and they don't do that through the drive through. Nor are they open on Saturday.

I have been with MCU all my life, they have great service, have been helpful during crisis, and taken great care with my money. I only wish they had a branch in Fulton!

I have been a member with this institute for quite sometime now. 3 auto loans all paid off. But get turned away on my most recent purchase. They have no problem charging checking fees but wont help loyal customers when needed. In the process of looking for a better place to take my business. This place is definitely not for the people like they claim to be!!!

We love to support our local Credit Unions, and just met a few of the staff downtown, and the Buttonwood branch. Was a really nice atmosphere of helpful people. Opened a new account and really getting settled in Columbia nicely!

I felt it to be very odd that I received a reply to a loan inquiry via an email. It was nice to know that I would benefit from improving my credit. An email message was sent to the branch manager, Ashley, for help to assist me with improving my credit. I have not received a response. I just expected more from a branch manager. A good thing happened due to no response from Ashley, I am joining another credit union on Monday. A financial representative has already ensured me that she can assist me in person or over the phone.
