Great collection and inventory. The staff is worse than being on a used car lot. We weren't left alone for even 30 seconds the entire time we were there. "Did you see this?" Did you see that?" "Let me show you this" Everyone is friendly and nice but they do not let you shop at all. Their relentless smothering deterred me from buying several things.

If you're looking for an antique shop, This ISN'T it at all. Things that should be $50-$100 (based on my prior knowledge, common sense, and ebay sold prices) were $545+. If you're going for anything other than the fine jewelry.... stay home.

My daughter and I had been wanting to go to this store for months. Every time we drove by we would say we have to go into this store! So we finally made it in, and it is such an amazing store, with an unbelievable assortment of fantastic items! Unfortunately, we were not allowed to browse at our leisure in peace. We were followed around the store and engaged in conversation even though it was obvious that we were having conversations with each other. We were smothered to such a great degree that on more than one occasion we couldn't even continue to walk to where we wanted to go and had to turn around and take a detour to get around the sales people who were blocking us from moving on. After a certain time I turned to my daughter and asked her if we looked like shoplifters who had to be closely monitored. We loved the store but probably won't go back as we don't like to be made to feel like criminals.

Charlie and Rebecca offer one of the best shopping experiences in the Midwest, and have done so for decades. The array of fine jewelry is amazing, especially this time of year. Recently Charlie oversaw a seemingly difficult re-sizing of my mother’s anniversary band. The result was just right, affordable, too! I bring in friends and family to shop at McAdams and it’s always a win-win. A sincere thanks to the McAdams team—you’re the best!

This store has a lot of great pieces; unfortunately, employees will not give you enough space to breathe, let alone actually look at anything. A woman held a constant conversation with my wife throughout the entire store, even as both my wife and I constantly sent the message that we would prefer to have some space and time to look at what was on offer. When I would break away to look at something, another employee would swoop in, and then another. We stopped to look at a neat Christmas-themed flying saucer display, and no less than three employees swarmed in out of nowhere to gush about the item, while also telling us they were wanting to show it to another couple, which also joined our swarm. So in the space of something like less than ten seconds, we went from admiring an item in peace to standing in the middle of a circle of five or six people.As soon as we got out of that frying pan, there were plenty of other fires for us to jump into. It was suffocating and above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before in any kind of store, anywhere. The place seems to staff twice as many people as are necessary for a store of this size, which is fine; but if they're paranoid about people potentially stealing (the only rationale I can possibly think of for what we experienced, though that doesn't exactly explain why my wife was chatted up for at least ten minutes in the entryway without even having the opportunity to properly enter the store) then one would think they could monitor customers without actively harassing them "with kindness" at every turn. A bunch of people staring at me to make sure I don't steal would be 10,000 times more comfortable than what I experienced today.We've bought from this business before and, while the staff has always been a little clingy (the fact that we have a small child seems to embolden them to never, ever shut up about baby clothes and never leave us more than two feet or so of personal space at any given time), what we experienced today will ensure that we will never set foot in McAdams' Ltd. again. There are plenty of other options in Columbia for good antiques without the horrendous behavior of their staff.

I can't forget how Dr phoka helped me to restore back my marriage after 2 month of separating with my Lover out of quarrel and he left and never return back to me, i did so much to get he back but nothing worked out not until i saw a comment online when someone was testifying of how Dr phoka helped her to restored back h herbLover and that was how i contacted him through his email and after writing my issue out he assured me that he will help me to get back my Lover in 24 hours after casting the love spell, and after he did the spell my Lover came back home and pleaded that he was very sorry today i am back with my Lover and we are both happy and living together again. i know there are many people out there that want's to get their love back..
