Great experience! just got my nose piercing a couple hours ago and was impressed by Living Canvas. Not sure what's up with all the negative comments, but personally I found this place to be friendly, clean, fast, and organized. I almost didn't go based on the reviews, but a couple local tattoo shops recommended this place for piercings and I decided to take a chance. So happy I did! They gave helpful aftercare tips and encouraged me to contact them/come back if anything at all goes wrong. I'd def recommend this place :)

Navel piercing was done June 1st. After 2 weeks went back because the bottom ball was nesting bad (needed a longer bar to accommodate swelling ). The bar was replaced but with a bar that had balls on the ends that were very small. Had issues with the tiny balls going up into the piercing hole bc of the nesting that previously took place. Went back again for a third time to have the piercing looked at. The piercer barely looked at it and said it looked just fine. Gave up and letting it close. Will not go back to this shop for any piercing. The initial piercing should have been done with a longer bar. The replacement bar should have had balls large enough to not go up into the piercing hole.

This place is a rip off I do not recommend this tattoo place at all I wanted to get a neck tattoo in the tattooist was very rude he said that it would be very hard to get on he lied and said it would take 20 minutes and said that it is not an easy thing to put on all I wanted was a little cross behind my ear not only that he wanted to charge me $120 are kidding me?? I don't think so plus me having a tip him would be a lot more screw this place if you're looking for a good tattoo shop with friendlier people and a more welcome place and cheap prices I would recommend going to Essentials Instead I went by there and boy their prices are excellent I showed her the thing that I wanted on my neck and she got right on it she was going to charge me $70 but she took $10 off now that's a deal and a plus for me the tattoo only took 2 minutes probably less than that I have to say I am impressed with how it turned out couldn't be any happier

I walked in and they were able to get me in immediately. The piercer was great and she really made sure I found earrings I liked and with every earring I was interested she made sure I knew the price which I really appreciated. Loved that they pierce with flatbacks. She made sure to explain and send me off with aftercare instructions. 10/10 for the skull decoration on the ceiling. When I was leaned back I definitely wasn’t expecting to see that!

Rude and dismissive piercer, don’t know about the other staff but I was made to feel dumb for asking questions. I am not comfortable going back there.

Mike at Living Canvas was awesome! Everything was super clean, sterilized, professional, and the vibes were really chill. Mike helped me find the exact placement of my helix piercing, talked me through the whole process, and made the experience comfortable and fast! I highly recommend anyone in the Columbia area to check out Living Canvas- great place!

Drove up from Springfield for a couple piercings. The guy wasn't there to do them he had already left. got told his hours came back up during his hours and he had already left. Very disappointed they don't keep people around to do the piercings

Very professional and clean establishment. Piercing technician was patient and calm energy. Front desk staff was super courteous and helpful. Recommended.

Had a couple nice jewelry pieces, but the guy helping me was very rude when telling me he didn't have what I was looking for, and kept making assumptions about where I was from. I'm sure some staff are great but the short stocky guy they sent out to talk to me about piercings was Not Very Nice and definitely did not make me feel comfortable.

Good experience here! I got a nose piercing, and Eric helped me out. He explained the process really well and debunked a few aftercare myths I wasn't aware of beforehand. Overall, he was super nice, and it's been a week so far. My piercing is healing well, with barely any pain since a couple of days after getting it. The place itself was clean and professional. Glad I chose their shop, and I plan on returning for future piercings

I got my very first tattoo and it was an amazing experience. Les was my artist and he did an amazing job. I have scheduled another apt already. Very clean and all in all good service

My recent visit to Living Canvas Tattoo & Body Piercings left me with mixed feelings. The interior exuded cleanliness, and the staff appeared friendly. However, the long wait and communication issues with the host at the counter were notable drawbacks.
Despite me checking in with the host before others, the lack of effective communication led to delays, with someone who arrived later being assisted before me. Implementing a system to record names upon arrival could have avoided this confusion.
On the positive side, the piercer was outstanding—knowledgeable and committed to ensuring my satisfaction. The expertise of the piercer elevated the experience, but the administrative challenges affected the overall impression.
Located on the busy street of Broadway, Living Canvas offers street parking nearby. While the piercer's skills were commendable, improvements in communication would enhance the overall customer experience.

Mike did a great job piercing my 10-year-old's ears. Moved slowly and was very clear to get her consent each step of the way. Excellent!

Kim was amazing, she was super calm and nice! And very professional and knowledgeable on what she’s doing. Which made my nipples piercing process go phenomenal. I love how they turned out. Would definitely recommend go to them!
