Super easy very reasonable price with free lock it was a very last minute need I literally pulled up and rented my unit Sunday afternoon on my phone and within minutes I was unloading into my unit.

My storage was broken in to lock cut stole 3 bedroom of stuff , owners never called, Mangerment is bad , no call backs. Only 1 male called me back in 1year of renting don't rent from Columbia smart storage thieves no cameras, I had to pay 50 for them to clean storage that a thief damage the remaining stuff that they damage .. I rate them a 0 don't rent ,

I would give them zero stars if Google allowed. Only rent a unit here if you want your belongings stolen. We were notified by email that our unit had been burglarized. Upon attempt to contact Columbia Smart Storage for more information we received yet another email with the following response that I have copied and pasted. "This is a police matter. Please call and open a case with CPD. Open a case with TPP. We will work with CPD to examine the video." No apologies, no remorse. I then contacted CPD who then informed me that burglaries have been happening here multiple times a week for months and while a report has been made Columbia Smart Storage has failed to provide them with any video footage as of yet and has consistently referred them to "upper management' without providing an estimated time this footage would be available. Keep in mind, per their website, Columbia Smart Storage prides themselves on being a "safe" facility by using "secure monitoring" and being fenced and gated with unique gate codes for everyone. We have requested a call from "upper management" as well and was told they don't respond to those requests. They did refund our February rent but that'll only cover a small portion of what we lost. What a joke!

Doesn't share video footage with the police when units are broken into!!!!! And lots of break ins at once is super sus!!!!! Esp when they don't cooperate with the police. Either the cameras don't work or inside job!

This place is a joke. Ever since they took over they have raised my rent almost $20 a month. Then if you want protection from rodents you have to pay an extra $50. Honestly not sure how they will prevent mice from getting into your storage, it pretty impossible. Just another way for them to steal more money from you. Needless to say I won't be storing my items here much longer. They are a bunch of crooks, I highly advice against storing your items here.

Worst company ever. Posting on website "Your property is our number one priority" - a total joke, they don't care about customers at all.Raised the rent over two years not by 10 or 20%, but by almost 50%, with zero improved service. When I picked up my possessions, the unit had been burglarized and my stuff completely trashed. All boxes ripped open, everything of value stolen, 2 laptops, several hard drives, professional camera, suits, shoes, coats, expensive kitchen machines, etc. See picture.Smart Storage's reaction was the worst one could even imagine. They referred to the liability section of their contract with absolutely no effort to help a customer who has lost all his possessions, no offer for at least a symbolic compensation. On the opposite, they even added a cynical "We appreciate your business".Never rent with this company!!!

I've lost so much by renting here! First someone cut into my unit and stole a bunch of stuff and so they let my move units (after doing nothing about the robbery) and while I was moving my things someone was so bold as to steal my things while I was in my old unit trying to pick up the mess from the 1st robbery! And to that one even though I had give them the date and almost exact minute it happened (in view of not 1 but 3 cameras) and they responded to me saying they seen NOTHING! Approx a week ago I was there and it turns out that more then half of these units have been broken into and looted for whatever seemed of any value... so sad. And too expensive I might add considering the level of security!

Long distance moving is stressful but renting our storage unit from Columbia Smart Storage made one thing very easy. I couldn't believe how simple it was. Thank you so much.

This place is terrible. They charged my account for a unit that is not mine without my authorization. When I called to ask for a refund I was told no until the account owner places their card on the account. I ask to speaker to the owner and he declined my call.. that is very bad customer service. The owner Jason does not follow up with his customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have reached out to the better business bureau and filed a complaint. I'm working with an attorney to have this matter resolved.

I have always received a quick response when I have e-mailed the owner. They take my rent directly out of my account which makes it easy on me. All around great service!Kristy
