This poorly run bank cashed forged checks that were obviously not our business checks. The poorly trained teller cashed a forged check from their bank and it didn't even have the bank logo on it. The teller was to stupid to see it was a forgery or they were in on it. Worst. Bank. Ever.$8,000 check...

Simmons took a fantastic local bank and drove it into the ground. I had had a relationship with first national, then landmark for over 20 years. I know they, nor anybody really, cares but big businesses like this are the bane of our existence. It was faster for me to drive 20 miles round trip to a physical location than it was to try to get somebody on their phone support. Despicable what Simmons did.

I really miss Landmark. I stayed after the buyout but I'm going to take my business elsewhere. Simmons bank is a joke.

Worst bank I've ever worked with. Customer service couldn't help me with an issue and forward me to the branch. The branch wouldn't answer the phone and never returned my 5+ voicemails. Horrible practices. The app rarely works.I called today to find out why my card wasn't working and was told that they canceled it a week ago due to "suspicious fraud activity". The charges were mine and I never received one phone call over the last week to ask about the charges or to tell me that my card was being canceled due to suspected fraud. We will be switching banks soon.

I've been on hold for an hour. All I want to do is find out if I can close the account. Since Simmons took over Landmark, they started taking ridiculous fees out every month just for having a checking account. We don't use that account a lot anyway, so the fees are slowly sucking it dry while we use zero services.

Literally the worst bank I’ve even went through. Never have anyone available who can actually help you. Have been waiting almost a week for a simple authorization on my account. They constantly take fees out and never answer. Will be moving banks soon considering they won’t even let me put money in my account. Was WAY better as Landmark! I have had nothing but problems since the switch.

Have tried calling 5 times today and keep getting the hold line for over 45 mins, they don’t fix your paperless statements on the app so they will constantly charge you $3 statement fee and $3 service fee each month. Trying to close accounts from a different state and they make it impossible

Worst banking experience in Columbia. Slowest moving staff and it’s obvious that they don’t care about your time. Took over an hour to set up a checking account only to find out that their debit machine is down and we will have to go to another location to obtain one. We had called ahead of time to make sure we could get an account started at this location. Also, staff are loudly arguing with customers and it’s audible throughout the entire bank.

Joining the club of worst customer service I've ever seen.. wish we could rate 0 stars... looking forward to my friends giving 1 star reviews as well... Columbia was MUCH better off without Simmons bank
