They will make several bank errors and then make you pay for it.

This bank gets worse every 6 months, they are no landmark bank that's for sure, the notary will only notorize documents pertaining to the bank, great new policy... horrible customer service. I own a business in downtown Columbia and we were with landmark. We were forcedto work with this awful bank when it changed hands.DO NOT BANK HERE

Forget the fact they are bad bank. Let's go with the don't work with the community and do whatever they can at this branch to make local music as difficult as possible.

Their motto should be "We'll help you unless there's a problem and there's always a problem. Terrible bank, they literally go out of their way to find a reason not to help you! Worst bank ever!

Terrible bank, they always find a reason or a way to avoid helping you. Easily by far the worst bank I have ever had to deal with.

We were originally First National Bank and then Landmark Bank customers who held a Smart Community Hero checking account. After the bank changed hands to Simmons, they began to service charge us on the account. I spent hours and hours on the phone over a few weeks with their customer service people looking for a way to fix the situation. We needed to change our account type to the Simply Checking Account, but they told me my wife and I would need to go downtown in person at the same time to the local bank HQ, which was a hassle. We also were concerned that our account number would change, which would mess up several connected bills and would cause us to order new checks. We didn’t want that. The last customer service person said the branch manager would have to OK it, so she sent me to the manager’s extension, where I left a voice mail. The manager ignored the message and never gave me an answer, either by phone or email (I had provided both options). So I thought I would call the local branch to see if I could talk to someone there, but it automatically feeds you back into the godawful customer service system where wait times can be excruciating. You can spend days listening to how Simmons bank branches will help you fulfill your dreams. Watching the grass die would be easier. So I clicked on this website that came up via Google and left a message asking the question: can we keep our current account number? Whoever answered it told me that “it would probably change the number.” OK, but I was looking for a definitive answer, and I had no idea what “it” was -- perhaps the robot who does the thinking for the organization? So I asked the question again, hoping for a real answer, but I only got another question: Why don’t you ask Customer Service? “Because it doesn’t work,” I responded. It was a classic Catch-22. Since she gave me the run-around instead of going to the trouble of finding someone willing to actually answer my question, I went downtown to the local bank and asked a teller. Ms. Maria Garcia not only answered my question in about a minute, she went ahead and switched my account to the other format, keeping the account number. I didn’t have to have my wife there too. Problem solved in about five minutes total. That's customer service, unlike what is provided over the phone. So how do I grade my experience? Customer Service Dept.: D, PR Flack answering online messages: F, On-site employees: A. After all that time wasted, the overall grade would be a “C.”

My card expired and never received a new one in the mail. I went inside the main building to get a new card but the card printer was broken, the teller proceeded to tell me that they would send another card in the mail. It's been over 2 weeks and I still haven't received my card and cant access any of my money. Online says that their drive through closes at 6, went at 5:30 and they were completely closed, this has happened multiple times. I've called and complained multiple times and nothing seems to happening in regards to me getting a new debit card. Will be canceling my account as soon as I'm able to get my money out.

I don’t have time to write a detailed review, but the short of it is the lack of customer service, incredibly long wait times, and the fees they randomly charge your account. They’ll likely respond to this message saying the fee was agreed to in some contract, but please note that it constantly changed. You’ll go months without fees, then out of no where, you’ll get a charge. The bank only cares about the bottom line. Not it’s customers.

Simmons Bank seems to want all Landmark business customers to move their accounts to another bank. Nothing else could explain how bad their service is. Online banking is terrible, phone hold times are terrible. In person terrible.

So I had already tried 2 weeks before to create an account here. I contacted someone and waited a week then started calling. I had already given him my info. I couldnt get through. I called customer service and they couldnt get through. I emailed the guy that was helping me. I called the guy that was helping me and left a message. I called the customer service again a few days later and they still couldnt get a hold of anyone. Then i went to the other branch on broadway and i talked to someone nd started making my account did all this garbage again. Then, i wait a week and they never call me. Then i go to the branch on Nifong and they are all so nice and in less than 2 days i have my accounts set up and my money in the bank. Tanner and Joan are wonderful people! They really made my day better!

Customer service was a lot better when you were landmark bank. I cannot believe I spent over 30 mins waiting to talk to someone and never got connected. I finally hung up because I have to go to work.

I was just at the Landmark Bank on Stadium trying to deposit a check at 8:15am this morning and tried to go through the drive through. There was a woman in the far right lane and she was talking to a banker so I assumed that if I went one lane to the left of her someone would also help me. I was incredibly wrong. I sat there waiting for 5 minutes for one of the two employees (who were both looking at me) to help me and they never did. I then went around to the front of the building and it was locked. I figured it wasn't 8:30 yet but I have been to other branches where they used common courtesy and if they saw someone waiting to come in they would open the door. Well these two employees didn't so I went back to the first lane and waited for the guy to help me and HE NEVER DID! HE TOOK A PERSONAL PHONE CALL on his cell phone and never helped me. I am done with this bank and will be moving my money elsewhere. The level of disrespect of horrible customer service is not acceptable. I would not recommend this bank!

This is my bank, and I am completely satisfied. I have never had a problem, and the tellers are always polite. Many locations around town. Highly recommended.
