update the hours of operation! 9:07 I arrived at Dollar Tree (Grindstone Pkwy) and they’re closed! Clearly says 10pm closure online, nor was there any sign indicating hours change with season.. nothing!

on Saturday November 25th around 9:00 a.m. I walked into the Southside Dollar tree location I went there to simply pick up a bottle of Ajax for a $1.25 in a bottle of lemon scented fabuloso. I immediately picked up those 2 items. without any hesitation I walked directly to the check out line, and was greeted by a short Burnett headed lady, she wasn't skinny, but not necessarily plump or fat. as to get an accurate description of the cashier ill just say " SHE WAS PUSHING MAXIMUM DENSITY ??!"She asked me "how was my shopping experience?" I said it was just fine thanks. Then she told me my total was three dollars and some change. so I pulled out my wallet, and out of all the denominations of bills that I had in my wallet I handed her a crisp $5. don't get me wrong typically the procedure that she done would be just fine with larger denomination bills. she started intensely checking out my $5 bill to determine whether or not it was REAL ????♂️. I must say I've experienced and do understand somebody checking your money if it's domination denominations of 100.00 $50. $20. she literally took her time and checked the five-dollar bill by marking it at least four to five times while looking at me as if I was doing something wrong?. I was dressed with my long sleeve work shirt a black zip-up hoodie some jeans with my belt on and pulled up as well as a pair of $200 brand new work boots, and no I did not have my hoodie over my head when I entered the store nor when I was in the store nor when I exited the store . I personally consider this to be a passive aggressive tendency that was steeped in some sort of biased towards me I can't say it's necessarily a racial. but I was kind of embarrassed ,and it made me feel mildly uncomfortable enough to warn others out there that just so happens to go to this particular Dollar tree. I'm going to end this by saying" if you have issues with certain groups of people or certain people the one should refrain from getting a job when you deal with public ?."

If you make some mistake of buying candy you might want to think twice. I bought a Butterfinger and that was so old the chocolate was white and the Butterfinger was rock hard.

There are 4 counters with only one open to checkout and there are atleast 20 of us waiting to be checked out..!!!! The manager just went out seeing all this!!!.

This location is definitely better than the other location I went to in Columbia. This place was much cleaner and the shelves were stocked. I will return to this location for sure. Recommend in Columbia.

Clean. I get excited at some of the merchandise—wow—for a dollar. Then I remember it is the Dollars Store. Finding the price of the item is a challenge. Still a Good Value.
