This is the most stressful banking experience I have ever had. An account ownership transfer is supposed to take no more than 10-12 business days (is what I was told), but it took over 5 weeks. The person I worked with had no experience with business accounts and told me incorrect information many times. Even simple things like setting up a username: I was told to use my account number as a customer id…what!?! I had to be transfer many times and wait on so many lines for service. I had to figure out mostly everything on my own because either the worker did not know the answer or told me the incorrect one. I have spent days on something any other bank/ location would’ve taken care of for me in minutes. This branch is incompetent. Save yourself the stress that I went through and go literally anywhere else.

I've been with Commerce Bank for many many years. I've always been treated very well, and when I have a question there is someone that can answer it. All of the customer representatives have been very polite and helpful, if I needed anything and they can not help me, they have a number I can call to get in touch with the right person to help me.

My son and I went in today to open a new account. The service, wasn't service at all. The two tellers working didn't acknowledge the 5 customers in the bank, as they stood with their backs to the lobby. When we were acknowledged, after another customer asked if they were going to assist anyone (in the lobby), the teller told us it would "be a while" (to wait) for assistance with an account. Not friendly or even helpful. We left without opening an account. As this was my first impression and experience, I'm not certain this is the "norm" at this branch or if someone was just having a bad day, but it was enough to make me change my mind about doing business with them.

I live in California and wished to transfer money from my Chase account here to the account of a friend in Columbia, Missouri. I was stunned to learn that the Commerce Bank there still dwells in the early 19th-century! While, through my California bank, I can send money instantaneously using Quick Pay with Zelle (or other, equally effective systems), I discovered that--with Commerce--there's simply no way to transfer money to my friend in "real time." Yikes, Commerce, you are WAY behind the times! Better send your president and other bank officers to some sort of catch-up seminar!

Rarely have good service at this branch. I just make deposits here. Find a different one if you need to do anything else.

I have had nothing but good experiences at other Commerce Bank branches, but my experience at this branch today has really soured my opinion of this bank. My husband and I are both working professionals with a special needs toddler. We are very busy people. We needed to sign some loan documents, which meant using our lunch break to go to the bank so we could do it at the same time as they insisted. We had a noon appointment with Jennifer and were left waiting with no explanation. 15 minutes past the appointment time when we start asking questions we are finally told that the printer isn't working, so they can't print our loan documents. Jennifer is on the phone with IT and they have no idea how long it will take. So we left and have to do this again tomorrow. Hopefully this time someone thinks to print the forms ahead of time. At least have the decency to figure out there is a problem before the actual appointment time and call your client! I hope this branch is embarrassed about this, because they should be.
