Sales people were there when I had questions, but not at all pushy. I bought a washing machine, and the guys they had install it were friendly and professional. They explained many of the features as well as providing some helpful suggestions on what not to do. I got a great deal, and would buy from them again.

Unbelievably rude and smug. I didn’t even have a chance to spend money here because their rudeness forced me out the door. It’s pretty bad when the big box places have better customer service than the self-described “family small guy”.

I needed a couple of parts for my washing machine. A friendly lady on the phone ordered the parts I needed and were there the next day. Columbia appliance also had the best price. Great experience.

I’m giving them two stars to be nice. Had them come out to replace a dryer thermostat and heating element. $275 later when it’s not drying called them back. Clean out the vent they said. Mind you the vent is right outside probably two feet. They don’t do that the tech said, you’ll have to call someone else to do that. I suspect that won’t solve the problem.. I’ve now called someone else, we will see. Check your work before you leave. Now I’m not even sure I needed the repair. Based on my experience I’d steer clear.

I bought an Amana washer and dryer set from Columbia Appliance and I have no complaints. I wanted a set that didn’t have all the fancy bells and whistles and Russ was able to help me find the perfect ones. They delivered them and were also willing to help answer any questions I had. It is definitely worth going to a local company than the big box stores.

Excellent recent experience with Columbia Appliance. Tech made it out as quickly as possible, the right tech with experience on my 15+ year fridge was sent out, problem was quickly diagnosed, my part came in w/in days and I'm back up and running. Thanks!

The nice gentleman who came out to the house was very courteous and professional and fixed my washer with no issues. If I have any more troubles, I will call Columbia Appliance again

The tech came in & did the job fine, I unfortunately was quoted a different price than I was charged. I was also billed directly after the service, which i was not prepared for, I thought I would be sent a bill so i was a little put on the spot. I was also charged an extra $25 for him working on it 10min “longer than he thought”. When I called to ask about this they said for every 15 min over it’s an extra $25 so i didn’t think them charging me that was fair when my bill was $207 & it was a 40 min job :( With the world being in a financially tough spot it’s important for people to know how much they will be paying & when they need to pay it.

Okay... so my husband and I bought a brand new refrigerator from Columbia Appliance In Columbia MO in January of 2023.. it's been leaking water on our food since the first week and we have been trying to get it fixed/replaced since we bought it... Long story short, Columbia Appliance wouldn't stand by their product and we're still having problems. I will NEVER EVER recommend buying from Columbia Appliance and will personally buy from big box stores from now on ?

January was very helpful in helping me picking out a dishwasher and oven. Unfortunately, the tech who installed the dishwasher installed it incorrectly. However, after talking to January, was able to get it repaired promptly!

I have always been able to call and get parts ordered for our old Kenmore washer and dryer and sometimes they help troubleshoot the issue to help me order the right part the first time.We recently purchased our kitchen appliances from Columbia Appliance and they were able to get really close to a big box store prices, with the added benefit of them delivering and installing!! Plus, they service the appliances - something the big box stores won't do. I've always been under the impression that small local businesses like these would be too expensive but that is definitely not the case!!!They are also very knowledgeable about each make and model. There wasn't a question they couldn't answer. You won't get that from a big box store - no more, "Assistance needed in the appliance section."We will be replacing our old Kenmore washer and dryer with Speed Queens and they will be purchased at Columbia Appliance.

They are the best in town. Bought our refrigerator there. The staff including delivery staff were very kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a local business who cares!

Bought a new fridge from Columbia Appliance. It had to be replaced during the first month. Replacement had to be worked on multiple times. Hate the fridge and tired of the hassle. Wanted to support local, but won't happen again.Response: Yes yes. Your tech told us he was the owner's son said that this model has circulation issues. There was no off of anything further to mitigate the issues. Frozen pickles and soggy ice cream bars get old. Very old.
