In a city's heart, where shadows lie,A beacon bright, beneath the sky.The food bank stands, a helping hand,For those in need, across the land.Shelves stocked high, with cans in rows,A silent promise, hope it shows.Cereal boxes, stacked in line,A chance to breakfast, truly thine.Volunteers, with gentle grace,A smile that lights upon each face.Listening ears, and hearts so kind,Understanding what they leave behind.Bags filled heavy, a precious load,Nourishment found upon the road.A single mother, tears unshed,For hungry children, now well fed.The elderly man, with stooped back slow,Finds dignity, where kindness flows.A simple meal, a plate to share,A burden lifted, with a silent prayer. The food bank stands, a symbol true,Of human spirit, shining through.Compassion's warmth, a fire bright,Guiding lost souls, into the light. So let us raise a grateful voice,For this haven, a people's choice.Where empty plates find sustenance,And hope endures, with every chance.

They have an extremely slow process for getting food since they've moved. Every time I've tried they have at least 50 people waiting and only call numbers every 7-10 min. So it's about a 3 hour process.

It is a blessing to have somewhere to go to get food when you can't afford to buy any. No matter what, I give YAHUAH all the praise, glory, and honor for taking care of us.

Be prepared for an eye-opening experience that involves your clients- who represent the customers; the staff- they run the show; and the volunteers .Now, all of the characters in this play- which we call life- are your neighbors, friends, sometimes relatives, and even those who may live on your street, though you may not have talked with them. Take a chance and ask just one of your not familiar members of your street how they are...itmay even go well.Well, anyway, come see your community at work helping those around you...it may just make your whole week. The new store is fantastic! Go enjoy our community at work for our community in need.

this place this place provides a lot of food to get you and your family through the month one of the better food pantries. they have so many items that you could choose from it almost be a little picky on what you want to take home to your family it's a nice resource to have and you don't have to live locally in the community to visit this food pantry you should go and when you by yourself short on cash to go to these high-priced stores like Wal-Mart and Target and so on and so on you will be very amazed and pleased and what you finding and bring home.

Took a friend and was told that I (anyone) could even take some items (perishable) from upfront. Very efficient operation, polite and helpful volunteers (or workers?), floor layout effective for traffic flow...

virtually everything was past expiration date. i understand the importance of the food bank, but when products are MONTHS past the date....unacceptable. id rather eat out of a dumpster. at least the food is fresher.
