Updated review, as of 01/18/2023:They have reopened their lobby at Lake of The Woods Exit; are a full service Lobby and are wonderful, again!!!! 5 stars!!! This is the Central Bank I remembered!!! IM STAYING!!! THANKS FOR REOPENING! YOU ALL ARE GREAT!!! DISREGARD EVERYTHING ELSE I SAID!Here is an email I just sent to Central Bank's Lake of The Woods Location.I have one checking and 3 savings accounts with Central Bank, Columbia, MOOne Savings is designated for my son, one for my daughter and a 3rd savings acct., designated for me.I initially opened these accounts, because I had all my assets in Bank of America, who decided to move every single one of their lobbies out of town, leaving only ATMS in Columbia. I hated that. Knowing this was going to occur, I opened 4 accounts with Central, at their Lake of the Woods location, ( a short walking distance from my home) after a lot of conversation with the branch manager at the time and after she left, her replacement was just as nice and helpful, along with the other man who had an office there. My plans were to transfer 100% of my assets to Central Bank ( Boone County Bank, as I knew it, since I first moved to Columbia in 1970), BECAUSE you had a lobby and personnel I could walk in and talk to and from whom I could receive personalized help. I was assured and reassured several times, that this was and will remain a full service banking lobby.I walked up to the front door not too long ago and was greeted by locked doors and a sign stating you had closed the doors and all lobby services permanently for this location. WHAT???? I WALKED TO THE DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW AND WAS TOLD THIS WAS THE CASE AND THAT I COULD DRIVE DOWNTOWN FOR LOBBY SERVICE.NO ONE TOLD ME THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.I SPECIFICALLY STARTED MOVING MY ASSETS TO CENTRAL BANK PRECICELY BECAUSE IT HAD A FULL-SERVICE LOBBY I COULD WALK INTO AND ASK FOR PERSONALIZED HELP.LUCKILY, I DID NOT TRANSFER ALL OF MY MONEY TO CENTRAL BANK, BECAUSE YOU DECEIVED ME INTO THINKING THE LAKE OF THE WOODS LOBBY WAS GOING TO REMAIN A FULL SERVICE LOBBY, UNTIL I RATTLED THE DOORS ONE AFTERNOON AND FOUND THAT YOU HAD CLOSED IT DOWN!!! CENTRAL BANK LIED TO ME!YOU ARE HAPPY TO TAKE MY MONEY BUT SLOW TO LET ME KNOW YOURE SHUTTING YOUR DOORS!!!I AM ANGRY WITH YOUR ORGANIZATION, BUT NOT FOR LONG. I WILL CANCEL MY ACCOUNTS, KEEP THE REMAINDER IN BANK OF AMERICA, UNTIL I FIND ANOTHER BANK WHO WONT REST ON ITS LAURELS; ON ITS PAST REPUTATION, WHILE ALSO SURREPTICIOUSLY PHASING OUT ITS CUSTOMER SERVICES, IN THE SAME UNDERHANDED WAY BANK OF AMERICA DID.SHAME ON YOU FOR DOING THIS TO A TRUSTING CUSTOMER.I WILL TELL EVERYONE IKNOW ABOUT WHAT YOU DID TO ME AND ENCOURAGE EVERYONE I know and/ or come in contact with, to no longer trust Central Bank of Mid Missouri and more and to switch banks as soon as possible, before you reduce THEIR services, also.Boone County Bank Never did anything like close lobbies without ( or with very short) warning. They were trustworthy.What else are you going to do to keep my money from me in the mean time?The online banking services remain good and the ATM is still there.... for now. I've lost all trust in Central Bank, however. I will find another, more trustworthy bank, ASAP. COUNT ON IT!!!

Today I came in during a busy time and noticed tanisha I think her name was going over and above to greet customers, help the lobby, drive thru, and two other coworkers. One of her other coworkers looked past me and helped the man behind me and she step up to help me. I normally don't have good experience with this branch but today Tanisha did a great job and it needs to be noticed!

Every business hopes they have great employees. This Lake of the Woods branch has 2 of the best people persons I have ever met. Lily and Landon both are amazing employees. Always helpful, happy and great at what they do! Hey personnel manager, you have two gems at Lake of the Woods!!

This branch is very close to my home. I walked in, after a frustrating time at my currently main bank, Bank of America, having lost my debit card. It seems that Bank of America is downsizing in Columbia, because I had to make an appointment just to talk to someone about ordering a new card, and they were " booked- full," until late the next afternoon. I came in the next day to their downtown facility, and found that they could no longer issue debit cards at the facility; or
