I have banked with Central Bank, both personally and commercially, for over twenty years. My experiences are all positive-from president and CEO, Ed Scavone, to loan officers to tellers to customer service. Fabulous bank with top notch leadership who care about our community.

After hours customer service is the worst. They've left me stranded with no money in other countries a few times. I'll be changing banks can't have this happening again.

Extremely inconvenient because they are not reachable by phone. In order to ask a simple question you have to physically go into a branch. All locations have phone system routed through the same call center (regardless of different numbers) where you wait 10-15 minutes on hold, be forced to give your identifying information to an automated asker, in order to remain on the line, and then after all of that, get disconnected. Happened twice. The folks that work inside the bank are always nice and always helpful. But sometimes......you just have a quick question about something having to do with your deposited money, and it would be nice (convenient) to be able to call the bank.

Larissa went above and beyond helping me with my accounts after I lost my wallet. She talked me down from the ledge and was greatly sympathetic. She was efficient and courteous all through the process. Exceptional customer service.

I needed help opening an account and Jhameikka was beyond helpful. I would highly recommend going to her for assistance. She made a stressful thing very simple. 10/10 recommend!

I called customer service and Nash answered the phone. I was asking about a charge on my account. He concluded that it was fraudulent and froze my debit card. I ask to talk to a manager. The Supervisor Chelsea got on the phone and quoted a bunch of policies but didn’t listen to me. What a terrible customer service experience when quoting policies to a customer is more important than listening to the customer.

This bank is fine as long as you don't need assistance from anyone. However, I need a document notarized and assumed I could this done at this bank since I've been a long time customer. This was an incorrect assumption. It appears Central Bank only provides notary services in Sedalia. An hour drive for a notary service is a little too much.

Service was horrible. I have never been frustrated like this at a Bank. The lady working at the commercial desk took forever to deposit. It usually takes me no more than 10 minutes to deposit. It took the teller close to 45 minutes to take care of my cash deposits. I had everything neat and ready to be deposited with all the slips attached to the amount of cash. I did not even give them the checks because of the amount of time it took them to process everything. Teller was rude and did not even greet or thank after the service. Took the check deposit downstairs to try a different teller and she was as rude. Horrible service.

Called customer service and spoke to Margaret. Took awhile to get the information I needed. Margaret was short with me and quick tempered. Not a good look.

for a "local" bank that claims it cares about the community, they nickel and dime you with fees way worse than any of the big, national banks do. every bank in the world has overdraft protection--they actively use overdrafts as a revenue generator. a lot of banks reimburse atm fees. not these guys. once upon a time, they were a decent local bank. now, they're just like any other bank, only without enough money backing them to provide the actual customer service they claim to pride themselves on
